Hello guys.. Update this week might be slow. I seem to have caught a cold and just writing this chapter gave me a high temperature and a huge headache. However I would try my best to update tomorrow. I just wanted to inform y'all if I end up taking a long hiatus.
"These guys are really strong" Aiden frowned as he stared at the Azure Ranger before him. He and the rest of the Blood Dragon Legion had been battling for over twenty minutes now. However since then they had not managed to even take down a single Azure Ranger. Although they were only a tad bit weaker than Silver Generals, these Azure Rangers were a lot more smarter. Unlike the Silver Generals who were more brutes than brains, these Azure Rangers knew how best to utilize their strength. Not to mention some of them could cast Hexes. However unlike Magis, these ones used long staffs. "They are very coordinated as well" Marie frowned as the Azure Ranger she was battling sent her staggering back. "What are we going to do now?" Rin asked Aiden. The thirty something Azure Rangers had them completely surrounded. They could neither advance or retreat. Boom! Before Aiden could reply, the ground shook as loud approaching footsteps rang out. Suddenly the Azure Rangers who had Aiden and the
"I guess this is the part where you surrender. You are completely surrounded" Aiden smirked confidently as Lucificul hung lazily across his shoulder. Sprawled on the ground was the Azure Ranger whose armor was completely covered in spiderweb cracks. Surrounding him were the dead corpses of the other Azure Rangers. As for the corpse of the Winged Scorpion Beedozer, its life essence had already been sapped away by Lucificul. As for it's lifeless husk, it was sprawled carelessly in another corner. "Hmpfh. Don't think my Winged Panda Man race is weak willed" the Azure Ranger snorted as it suddenly brought out a bone dagger, stabbing towards his chest. "Were you given the chance to commit suicide?" a snort rang out as the sound of a sabre swiftly being drawn out rang out before suddenly subsiding. Shatter! The Azure Ranger stared in shock at the broken shards of the bone dagger. Just a few inches and his fingers would've been sliced off as well.. "Did anybody bring a rope with them
"Sir! we have successfully stopped the first wave of the invading Feind beasts" a Royal Sentinel saluted as he stood before Zion. "What about our arsenal?" Zion had an unreadable expression on his face as he slowly looked down on the ground from the back of the Sky Piercing Eagle mount. "Two thirds of the squad members are low on energy. The Healing Magis are doing their best to help recover their lost strength. However according to a rough estimate, only half the of them would be in fighting condition once the second wave begins" the Royal Sentinel reported. "That's no good" Zion clicked his tongue with frustration. Normally during a Ruins Rift, there were several waves of attacks. The first waves usually consisted of the weakest Feind beasts in that Ruins. The more waves that followed after packed more power. If the first wave was enough to almost cripple them with their full strength, there was no hope of fending off the second wave with half of their man power. "What ab
The three Silver Generals were in the midst of conversing amongst themselves when a blurry figure appeared before them, a sharp sword stroke immediately stabbed towards the throat of the staff weilding Silver General. Twang! The staff weilding Silver General staggered back a bit after blocking the sudden attack with his staff. As for Zion, he took advantage of the rebound force to spin his sword, thrusting it towards the femme Silver General who happened to be the closest to him. "Hmpfh" the femme Silver General snorted contemptuously, easily blocking the sudden attack with one of her two battle axe, while smashing the second one towards Zion's wrist. If Zion continued with the attack, his wrist would definitely get chopped off "Tsk" clicking his tongue, a burst of sword force erupted outward, causing the Femme Silver General to stagger back, causing her axe chop to miss its target. "Die!!" a furious roar erupted from behind Zion as the staff weilding Silver General rushed tow
Just as the Femme Silver General was feeling ecstatic, a cold snort suddenly rang from behind her. "Think again" Boom! Before the Femme Silver General could react, a powerful wave of sword force slammed directly on her back, the force sent her flipping unstably through the air. "So fast!" the first Silver General hissed in surprise as the Zion who was currently blocking his club suddenly dispersed like the breeze. An afterimage! Clang! The first Silver General reacted quickly, bringing his large club close to his face as he managed to block Zion's sword. "You are uninjured?!" he stuttered in surprise when he saw Zion pressing forward, both of their weapons caught in a tight deadlock. "Never trust your eyes" this piece of advice had only dropped when Zion suddenly vanished like smoke. Whoosh! The First Silver General swung his club to the left, blocking Zion's sword that was about to stab into his rib cage. Whoosh! Zion vanished again. Clang! Clang! Clang; Like a ghos
Boom! A loud explosive sound threatened to smash Zion's eardrums into a bloody mush as the large pillar of volatile energy slowly receeded. "What in the hell?!" Zion's lips trembled as the grip on his sword nearly slipped. Currently, the first Silver General seemed to have experienced a complete transformation. Its thick body armor had already been ground to dust, exposing its burly physique. However currently the body of the Silver General was ridden with silver colored spiky protrusions, making it appear like a giant sized porcupine. Its once chopped off tail miraculously seemed to have regenerated, twice as long and thick. Two sharp tusks like fangs protuded out from its jaws and with every breath it took seemed to be like it was inhaling flames. As for its huge bat like wings, it seemed to have extended In size as well, with its former inky black color making it seem like it was one with the shadow. "This power" the Silver General inhaled feeling ecstatic as it clenched its
"Are you sure we are not under the effect of a hidden Rune Matrix?" Marie turned towards Aiden as she whined out a complaint. The group had been walking for quite some time, however they were yet to arrive at the end of the third layer. Forget reaching the exit, they hadn't even come across a single Winged Panda Man. It was like the world was so expansive.. without end. "Is it normal?" Red Rose asked Aiden, she was already beginning to have her doubts. Thanks to ingesting the blood of the Winged Scorpion Beedozer, the poison had been successful flushed out of her system. In the face of this torrent of doubtful questioning, Aiden was forced to stop walking. "Aren't they guys putting me on a high pedestal? Although I am the Leader of this group, that doesn't mean I am all knowing. Hell, I am just a teenage Academy Student. There are a lot of things about Ruins that I don't know of" "What if we are really stuck in a Rune Matrix and we are currently walking right into a death tra
Just as Marie squatted down to harvest the Red Clove Fieldcress, a warning rang out from behind her. "I would be careful if I was you" "What do you mean?" she turned towards Oge who slowly shook her head before pointing to the left. "Looks like not all Red Ones have sharp vision" Thanks to her warning, the group finally noticed a hidden figure besides the Red Clove Fieldcress. It was a curled up serpent with two small bumps on the middle of its head. Its scale was the exact color of the Red Clove Fieldcress, making it appear almost invisible. If not for Oge's warning, the group would've still been left in the dark. "That's a Crimson Moon Phyton" Rin recognized the origin of the sneaky creature. "Are you sure? if it's a Phyton, what's up with those two weird bumps on its head. Did it crash on something or what?" Aiden asked. During a class at the Academy, he had once seen a photo of the Crimson Moon Phyton. However in that picture, the Crimson Moon Phyton didn't have any bumps.
