Sadist Family

The Smith family is known as a family that doesn't care about other people's feelings.

This family has been rich for generations from their ancestors whose wealth never runs out.

But it's not wealth that underlies Christine's decision to marry Karel Smith.

Christine was very impressed with Karel, who according to her was very kind and liked to joke around, which could make her life colorful.

"Christine Taylor....you are such a stupid woman!" she shouted inside.

Without investigating the Smith family first, Christine simply accepted Karel's proposal, even though at that time her career in a construction company was on the rise with a fantastic salary.

Karel's mother was initially very friendly towards Christine, making it seem as if she had found a warm new family that she believed could lead her to happiness.

Her mother-in-laws started to look strange when she gave birth to Cindy, her first child.

Her mother-in-laws absolutely do not want to hold her grandson, for no apparent reason.

Even the nature of her mother-in-law began to change and away from her.

Cindy was never close to her grandmother, because her mother-in-law didn't like Cindy at all.

Christine had already asked this question to Karel, but Karel's answer didn't satisfy her at all.

"Maybe you want a grandson next time Chris, that's why she doesn't really like Cindy!" replied Karel casually.

"You can't do that, Kar... after all, Cindy is still her granddaughter. I'm also shunned! Actually, what did I do wrong, Kar?" Christine asked curiously.

"You're not wrong, Chris! Mother's character is like that! You are patient, OK? I'm sure my mother's character will change when you give birth to a grandson for her," said Karel explaining the reason.

"Are you sure that's the reason, Kar? I'm really not sure. Did your mother really not like me from the start?" she asked.

"Mom really loved you when we first got married. Don't you remember, Chris? You always bought branded bags and nice dresses so you could mingle with the rest of the Smiths."

"I remember, Kar! That's why I'm confused now. Why did she stay away from me? She doesn't even acknowledge her own granddaughter anymore! I'm so hurt, Kar!" said Christine who could no longer hold back her tears.

"I also don't know why mother's attitude changed towards you, Chris! If I have time, I'll ask mother later!" said Karel.

"Is that right, Kar? I want answers... if I'm wrong, I'll fix it, Kar!" said Christine who started to put hope in Karel.

But Karel's promise was just a promise.

Her husband never dared to ask about this change in her mother's character.

Christine didn't want to add to the problem by asking her mother-in-law directly about this problem. If the mother-in-law's answer hurts her, then the relationship between mother-in-law and son-in-law can crack. This is what Christine always avoids, so she always asks Karel for help.

But this husband is really a man who has no guts at all. Even just asking his own mother, he did not dare either.

The nature of her mother-in-law is getting worse and worse.

Even the maid who usually does household chores in the Smith family was laid off.

All work from washing clothes, ironing clothes, cooking, even cleaning the house is Christine's duty as the only daughter-in-law in this big house.

"Kar ... why are all the housework left to me! I have to take care of Cindy too and breastfeed her. I'm tired Kar, working non-stop from morning to night!"

Christine once launched a strong protest to Karel about this arbitrary behavior of her mother-in-law.

The answer from Karel really disappointed her. Is this the husband she hoped would be her dream husband when she accepted this man's proposal in the middle of his brilliant performance in the company where she worked?

"Mother is just testing you, Chris! Don't keep complaining! Just do what my mother ordered! You're her daughter-in-law, so it's only natural that you're ordered around!"

Christine immediately got mad hearing Karel's answer which was very unfeeling towards her.

"What do you say, Kar! I have to do everything without complaining? I'm not complaining, Kar! I just want my work reduced! I don't have time, even just to breastfeed your child! You don't seem to care at all for Cindy! Why your mother don't like Cindy, so you also don't like your child? Cindy is your own flesh and blood, Kar! How dare you abandon your child!"

"I don't want to argue with you, Chris! My advice, you just do everything mother orders! Don't ever refuse her, mother will hate you even more if you refuse her orders!" replied Karel without feeling.

"I'm not a maid in this house! It's easy for you to talk! I'm an undergraduate! My career and salary are also higher than yours! Now the Smith family treats me like a maid... even a maid is paid by Kar!"

Christine was truly sorry that she had been trapped into the vicious circle of the Smith Family, whose treatment was truly sadistic.

"Never mind! I'm lazy to keep fighting with you! It's always your mother's problem that you talk about! I don't think you're the one who made my mother dislike you as her daughter-in-law!"

Karel even accused Christine of being the culprit of all the problems that befell her. Her husband didn't even listen to what she said.

Her words did not touch her husband's heart at all. much different when Karel proposed to her in a romantic atmosphere.

"You're so sadistic, Kar! I didn't expect Karel, who was once romantic and loving, now he's just a coward and doesn't care about his family at all!"

Christine's heart was broken, because her only hope, namely her husband, to ease the tension between daughter-in-law and mother-in-law, could not be relied upon to solve the problem at all.

Karel desperately defends his mother's treatment of her, without trying to help her to reduce her burden. Even though her husband knew that she was breastfeeding their baby who was only a few months old. If the condition of the body is not healthy, of course breastfeeding will be hampered.

"I no longer want to hear your excuses for constantly blaming my mother. From now on, just live your new life!" said Karel as he left Christine..

Christine patiently tries to live her new life being treated like a maid in the Smith Family's house.

The hope, Karel's words have some truth in that her mother-in-law expects a grandson to carry on the Smith Family name.

But ... everything is not proven.

After giving birth to a son for Karel, her mother in-laws' treatment remained unchanged.

Christine is increasingly shunned by her mother-in-law, only seen as a maid in the Smith family's house.

Jason also never touched. Worse, Karel also didn't pay attention to his son at all.

"Kae... what else should I do to be accepted in your family!" said Christine. "I can't take it anymore, Kar, live like this. It's like living in hell!"

"I don't know Chris! It's up to you what to do! I'm dizzy thinking about your problem over and over again!"

That was Karel's answer, when Christine was getting desperate, and hoped for her support.

Karel's statement that her mother-in-law wanted a grandson from her turned out to be utter nonsense.

Even much worse.

After giving birth to Jason, her mother-in-law began introducing Karel to Bella.

Christine no longer knows where she went wrong that made her life not match her expectations.

The climax, when Karel stated that he would propose to Bella to be his second wife, without divorcing her.

Her husband did not know she even asked her permission to remarry.

"All of you are a family of sadists who are inhumane and never pay attention to other people's feelings. It's a shame that I entered this sadist family!" muttered Christine hurt and full of anger.
