16-The Seasons And The Prince Birthday Banquet

Izuro's Pov:

Finally the day for the banquet came.

I really felt tired from visiting those friends.

I also asked my father for a phone, since we are rich I demand a high quality one.

And oh boy oh. This fantasy phone is something else.

The battery is changed with magic. I asked my father how it works,  he said. It's the magic circle inside that gather mana slowly to keep the battery charging . The front and back camera can take pictures with a higher quality than the one I saw in my previous life.

There is also internet here, you need to pay a small price to get it. But what made me happy was the phone that my father buyed for us have an unlimited access to the internet without paying, free things are the best.

the signal wave here is a bit advanced, you can connect to the internet as long as there is mana in the air, while discovering the new functions in the phone . I found some interesting things that lead me to check some information about this world in the Wikipedia fantasy version.

Here they use a calendar named the Spirit calendar. This year is the 1000.

The seasons name is different here, they use an already dead or alive deity name.

Spring = The Wind season.

Because of the gentle winds that appear frequently and the appearance of newley born animals and plants, they named it after the wind deity Storm. It say he is responsible for controlling and ordering the wind to be gentle as to bring peace and happiness to the people.

Summer = The Light season.

Because the sun in this season took a long time to set after it rise thus making the day long and the night short, they name it after the light deity Solar. It say he is in control of the light that purify every evil thing and protection the people with good hearts.

Fall = The Stars season.

Because the sun in this season took a long time to rise and when it rise it will take a short time to set thus making the night long and the day short since it's most of the time night then the stars are always hanging in the sky, they name it after the darkness deity Nightmare. It say he is in control of darkness and kill every evil creatures be it a humanoid or monster and bringing eternal night to all of them while protecting the good people.

Winter = The Cold season.

Because the temperature drop sharply in this season and create snow in most places and ice in some places while bringing the cold wind with it thus making the whole world cold, they name it after the ice deity Zero. It say he is in control of all the ice elements freezing every enemy who stand on his way from keeping his own justice and protecting the good people.

Hmm, this setting is more like a game lore. There is also talk about the four deity being a team or something, and the gender here is hard to guess, in this world there is some who got nickname like The butcher while being a woman and there is also someone who got the nickname The beautiful Heart while he is a man.

Also there is a talk about Nightmare and Zero being partners or couple because when winter comes it's cold and dark. The same for Solar and Storm.

[Seriniti]: "can you put the phone away. We already reached the castle."

Not hearing what my mother said I continue checking other stuff, that's when a hand reached my phone and took it.

[Alicia]: "Really, why did we buy it for them, now they are all focusing on it while ignoring today important event"

While saying that she also took Ibara's phone and ignoring her resentful eyes.

Seeing that we reached the castle entrance where the banquet is going to be held, I start hoping to end this event quickly so I can continue searching for other stuff in the internet.

Looking at the many cars with all kind of shape and colors and family logos, I wanted to take a picture but I quickly remember that aunt Alicia took it.

Stepping out of the car while holding Ibara's hand. I saw a two unexpected people guarding the entrance, It's Jack and Rob.

[Ibara]: "aren't those two the guards from that day?"

"Yeah, they are nice people"

Before bypassing them i was going to greets them with a sincere smile.

That's when Rob start shaking again and bowing his head in my direction as to avoid talking to me.

Jack was atleast better, he said while saluting me.

[Jack]: "Young master, Young miss"

"What's wrong with your friend?  Is the impact the previous time was too hard for him?"

Asking him that I was wondering if he is sick or just a fragile guy.

[Jack]:"...yes, it hit him a bit hard, lately he's not energetic like always"

"I see"

While saying my goodbye to them I followed my family that was waiting for us.

[Ibara]: "it's your fault for making him like that"

While holding my hand Ibara said to me

"Me? Why? he was the one who bring it upon himself, and he should thank me ,if it was someone else maybe he's more than like now"

I mean, why the heck he will make it as a background picture?  Surely his superior will check his phone one day and found the picture, it will be extremely embarassing and it will also be his dark history. I'm only a kid so he won't feel that way toward me.

[Ibara]: "True"

While walking I noticed that most people try to slowly distance themselves from us .

Hmm ,it seems like the title effect I saw at the panel Months ago wasn't bug, because the look in most people eyes are looking at us like we are truly like a disaster that people should keep distance from.

Well. I don't find it uncomfortable anymore.

While following the footsteps of my father and entering the hall.

He suddenly stopped and pointed to a direction where there are many kids there.

[Martin]: "you two can go there and stay, it's prepared specially for kids"

"Can I not go?"

[Ibara]: "Same"

[Alicia]: "well, you can but I'm not sure if you don't want your phones back"

Is this woman threatening us??

Hey is no one is seeing this?

Why my mother is also nodding as to agree to her.

It seem there is no kid right in this world.

Before waiting for my answer uncle Yusez said to us

[Yusez]: "Oh I forget to mention that you can eat all what you want ,there is a lot of food prepared since this is an important event for the empire"

I changed my mind. This world is beautiful.

"Ok I'm going there to play with the kids"

[Ibara]: "sigh, why does he always follow the food"

Saying that I start walking quickly towards the tables while Ibara is following me.

Let them think what they want about me, but this world food is extremely delicious.

It's much better than most of the food I have eaten in my life.

Reaching a table full of food and surrounded by kids, the moment they saw us they quickly changed table .

Only one kid left and he still eating.

Taking a quick glance at him then focusing my gaze at the food, I start filling a big plat while also giving to Ibara what she likes and eating what she dislike.

Just like that I forget my self while eating and Ibara watching me while murmuring

[Ibara]: "didn't that female chief said you can know a person needs just by looking at their taste? Why can't I understand what this pig need?"

"I heard that"

Complaining to this girl who always watch cooking videos I continue my hard fight with this steak, she doesn't want to be finished but I don't give here any chance and I eated her in huge bites.

After finishing the food in this table I quickly noticed the kid from before looking at me while smiling.

[------]: "Hello, did you like the taste?"

I don't understand why he asked this but I'm going to answer anyway

"It's a heavenly taste. I'm waiting for the servants to fill the plates again"

[------]: "phew luckily you like it. By the way my name is Ryuo, what about you?"

"Izuro"

[Ryuo]: "and that brother with you?"

Pfff.

While holding my laughter I glanced at Ibara and she just ignored me.

Well, since she didn't correct him let him misunderstand.

"Ibara, the name is Ibara"

I said that while pointing at her.

[Ryuo]: "Nice to meet you both"

"Nice to meet you"

[Ibara]: "yeah"

After chatting with him for a short time two maids came holding plates full of food while another Butler came and whisper something to Ryuo.

Readying my self for the second round I heard Ryuo say something

[Ryuo]: "sorry but I have to go now, my mother is calling me"

"OK, see you later"

I unconscious response while focusing at the food

[Ryuo]: "cya"

Second round, here I come

3rd Pov:

While walking away from the table while following the Butler Ryuo start murmuring

[Ryuo]: "Finally, I saw the legendary figures"

[------]: "did you say something your highness?"

The Butler asked Ryuo with concerne

[Ryuo]: "no nothing, it's just I'm a little excited"

Hearing the answer the butler continue walking while feeling relieved for his Prince happiness.
