36-The Approaching New Year

Izuro's Pov:

Lately the weather is getting colder and colder, the snow is now covering almost every place.

The new year is coming, only the Last week left.

This last days, I stopped training.

I decided to take a rest from all the hard work I have been doing.

The leveling up is becoming harder , I asked my father the reason and he said that to level up we need to kill monsters, or just train like a crazy for a long period of time to just level up one time.

Am currently at level 16.

My stats are biased toward health defense and magic defense, and of course strength. A good guardian can't be just a meat shield without some damage.

But compared to my intelligence and dexterity, I think I'm more toward the do then think catalog .

Anyway, I also got a new skill.

Easy to understand the effect from the simple name.

But what made me curious and unable to understand is the title, how the heck I got another weird one without doing anything.

I'm a good kid, I didn't do anything that harm people or made them uncomfortable. I made my father rise the salary of those who work hard like the chiefs, I'm good that even Santa create another list named Top Priority and put my name on it.

And here is this motherfucker titles with obviously evil names in my panel.

I guess the one responsible for this dosent like me being a good guy huh.

But atleast Ibara got an evil title too.

Turning my head to Ibara who is now busy watching some cooking videos while holding Frosty in her arm.

Sigh, It really hurt my feeling everytime I saw this.

Her intelligence is rubbing the ground with mine, she also have the question mark in her skills slot too.

I already stopped comparing her stats with mine, I mean what can I gain by doing that? Only some bad feeling.

Since we're both going to team up anyway, I better work myself to cover her shortcoming.

While being lost in my thoughts, I didn't notice mother whose belly is obviously bigger than before entering the room.

Seeing her, Ibara quickly got up and helped her push the chair while sitting next to her.

[Seriniti]: "I discussed with your Mom and we decided that you will get the Spear back as the new year gift. Happy now?"

[Ibara]: "Yes, thank you very much"

[Seriniti]: "your welcome, by the way why is Izuro staring at the wall and not talking? Did he finally realized his mistakes and start reprinting on them?"

[Ibara]: "That's probably not going to happen, he have this habit of zoning off when he start thinking about what he's plans for today or tommorow, or just thinking about other stuff"

[Seriniti]: "I'm surprised, how did you know all of that?"

[Ibara]: "He told me himself"

[Seriniti]: "oh sorry my bad, it was really obviously. Anyway can you call him?"

[Ibara]: "hey. Hey. HEEEY!"

"Damn, Did santa got stuck in the chimney or what?"

[Ibara]: "I was calling you but you were out, also who is santa? And why did he stuck at the chimney?"

[Ibara]: "you probably should change this habit of staying like a status looking at the wall for a long time, also I called you because aunt asked"

Saying that she pointed to the table where is mother sitting there now.

"When did she came in?"

I was really focused that I didn't saw nor hear anything.

[Ibara]: "when you were zoning out. also Don't ignore my question, who is santa"

"Oh, he's just a kind old man that deliver gifts to the good kids without caring about the amount of gas he's going to use to archive that"

After Giving her a clear explanation about the guy who write my name in a separated list, I walked toward the table and sat across from mother.

"what's wrong mom? Do you want me to go and bring father back?"

[Seriniti]: "do you think I always come to you only when I need you to do something?"

"Nah, just curious. I mean your my mother so why do you need a reason to talk to me"

The three of us sat like that in silence.

Can't bearing this awkward silence anymore, I decided to broke it.

"So, are we waiting for someone?"

[Ibara]: "are you going to teach us something or? Cause the last time we waited for her was on our lectures that you totally forget about"

"Yeah, I appreciate that though. I like the long vacation"

While Tapping slightly at the table to pass the time, I saw the door open and Aunt walked in.

Finally.

[Alicia]: "sorry for being late"

I sat up and helped her moving the chair, cause if I didn't do that then mother's eyes are going to make a two hole in my face.

A forced gentlemen behavior.

[Alicia]: "Thank you"

"Don't worry, that's what I should do"

Going back to my chair, I heard Ibara whispering to me.

[Ibara]: "How does it feel to do something good?"

"Bruh, I was always a good guy"

[Ibara]: "haha, nice joke"

[Seriniti]: "Alright, listen you two. Since both of you start learning at an early age, we decided to send you to the kids school where you can meet other people, it's in the royal capital"

"Wait, you can't send us. That's illegal, where still young kids. What you're going to do when I miss you and dad huh? Sending me mails? No thanks"

[Seriniti]: "Oh dear, why didn't I know you have a stupid side. Of course we're not sending you for a long time. The school is for kids your age and they just teach some hours a day and you can come back with the portal, also were sending you with someone you meet before as your guardian"

"Just say kindergarten directly"

[Ibara]: "so when we're going?"

[Alicia]: "after the new year, now it's best to spend the time here"

Kindergarten huh, I don't remember much of it, heck I don't remember if I even got there.

"Welp, I'm accepting your arrangement. Now if you excuse me ,I got some time to waste until my second lunch time so I'm going to bed"

[Seriniti]: "good, It's just coincidentally that I happen to have some talk with Ibara "

"Yeah right"

Well sorry but I'm not interested in your talk.

Walking toward the bed on the left side, I jumped directly on it.

Yeah, we're still sleeping in the same room. Guess it's a habit now.

Gazing at the ceiling, i start making plans for the next days while thinking about the kindergarten.
