Chapter 102

Cassie didn't know how come but she eventually crossed over to where her Meghan was laying there bleeding from all sorts of places.

A crowd had formed and nobody there knew that Cassie was Meghan's daughter. They were all talking over each other, mixed with the honking sounds from vehicles, Cassie felt like dying on the spot.

She walked through the crowd and saw her mother. Many people were only looking at the body while there were some who were generous enough to call for an ambulance.

Cassie went on her knees and pulled her mother into her arms.

Meghan was breathing slightly.

She wasn't dead yet but it didn't mean she was out of the woods, however, it was enough to give Cassie hope.

Tears slid down from her eyes as she held her mother tightly, she ran her now blood red stained fingers over her mother's face to dry the tears, though she was also crying.
