Both Davide and Cassie were both thunderstruck by Avery's outburst. However, unlike Davide who ventured into the hostile lane, Cassie found the humor in what Avery was talking about.

She laughed out loud in mockery.

Davide on the other hand, had had his fill of Avery's attitude towards Cassie. He knew that Avery probably thought that he was in a sort of relationship with Cassie and it pained him that Avery thought that way of every woman who was standing beside him.

She made that assumption with Zeta and now Cassie had to suffer from the same assumption.

Davide was sick and tired of Avery's bold assumption and she had successfully attracted the attention of everyone who was simply passing by. They all stopped as they watched the three of them.

Davide did not necessarily blame them because this sort of drama was not quite frequent in the hospital so he could pardon their curiosity. However, for Avery he was fed up. He wasn't to get rid of her and the faux marriage they were in.

"Avery
