It was not just Clay that was overly affected by the ringing of the siren that Introduced the new day.When the loud buzzing came on,Vasquez had hurriedly closed his ears,as fast as he could but not fast enough to block all the possible noise out.He had gotten a gunshot to his ear a while back , a gift of his street shooting days and his ears had remained sensitive since especially to loud and piercing sounds and this siren was a terrible combination of both.The first time he had listened to the siren,he had been quite literally blown away as he had been unable to handle it.He had learned subsequently to control it,slower than his old self as he had grown older and slower while he was not even paying attention.He could not even think of being mad at the person that had done it to him because it was a mild complication compared to the usual complications involved in his lineof work.He especially considered it mild because he knew what he had done to other people on those same stre
