The seekers

The pain on Clay's face was palpable and the silence that ensued after her demand was mostly as a result of how much fear they had all felt from her question.

Vasquez stared deep in to her eyes or tried to.

He could not seem to look her in the eyes and any time he tried to do so,be found himself taking his eyes off immediately.

For some reason, he felt that a lot depended on the answer he was going to give and he felt terrible because he knew that he could not give her a good answer which was why he was keeping quiet.

She shook him, reminding him that she was still holding him up by his collar which was quite shocking in its own but no one had the time or willfulness to notice that a girl was basically holding up like he was a piece of paper.

The tears trickled down her eyes and strangely enough the rest of her face remained quite serious as she spoke again,her voice lilting.

"Answer me, Vasquez !",She muttered, grunting after.

"Say something !",She demanded and before giving him a ch
