Ancient swords

Secret Room.

During the fourteen years that Zhang Xiang lived in the mountain pavilion, Hua San had never once toured the rooms within the pavilion. It didn't make sense for such a large pavilion not to have many rooms, so Zhang Xiang wanted to know more about his father's greatness during his lifetime. He started to find out about his father by getting to know the private room that used to be his father's room.

The last time he entered the room was when he was a child, when his father was seriously ill and died in the room. At the age of five, he could already see and remember the incident clearly, so that every time Zhang Xiang walked past the room, he immediately remembered the incident where his father was dying on the bed, not only the pain caused by the disease he suffered, but the bad treatment of a criminal who until now was still an enigma, because Zhang Xiang could not remember the man's face clearly.

Zhang Xiang entered the room hesitantly, until a few seconds later he pulled back his feet that had entered the room, and decided not to go into his parents' room because he felt unable to remember those memories, especially since the shadow of his father's face haunted him.

Zhang Xiang shifted his gaze away from the room, until his eyes accidentally focused on the room right beside his parents' room. Zhang Xiang remembered that when his father was alive, no one was allowed to enter the room. And Zhang Xiang also remembered that his father had entered the room with a blue key.

This made Zhang Xiang want to see what exactly his father was hiding in the room. But he remembered that he did not have the key to open the secret room.

"I wonder what exactly dad was doing back then, and why did he strictly forbid anyone to enter this room?" Zhang Xiang said curiously.

Until he remembered something. Immediately Zhang Xiang ran to his room in a hurry, until soon Zhang Xiang was back in front of the secret room again. Zhang Xiang turned his head right and left to make sure that it was safe. Then Zhang Xiang slowly pointed the object he took from the room towards the lock hanging on the door, a little hesitation was in Zhang Xiang's heart but it did not prevent him from doing what he wanted to do.

Until a few seconds later...

Squeak...

Zhang Xiang's eyes perfectly rounded, the padlock successfully opened with the object in his hand. Without further ado, Zhang Xiang walked into the room and closed it from the inside. Zhang Xiang still couldn't believe what he had done just a few seconds ago, for about ten years, he had just found out that the pendant on his necklace was a key to open this secret room.

Zhang Xiang had wanted to throw the necklace away because he was angry with his father, but in the end, he would take great care of the necklace because it meant a lot to him. The necklace, which had a light blue gemstone pendant, was shaped like a circle but had a carved edge design like a slipper. Zhang Xiang looked around the room which was very dark, plus it was very stuffy due to the closed room.

Zhang Xiang walked around looking for light in the room, until he came to a lantern displayed on the wall. Seeing this, Zhang Xiang immediately approached the lantern and turned it on. Fortunately, oil and matches were provided beside the lantern so there was no need to look for a way to turn the lantern on.

There were two lanterns that Zhang Xiang lit. Although the room was not very bright, there was at least a bit of lighting for him to look around the room.

"Apparently this was father's secret room when he was alive. I hope to find clues about the jade key in this room," Zhang Xiang said as he looked around the dusty room.

There were a lot of thick books with ancient Roman writing here. Zhang Xiang did not read them because the thing he hated the most was reading books. However, there was one book that made him feel curious, which was a book that was about 2 cm thick, with a worn light blue cover. The book was open, Zhang Xiang took a peek at the contents of the book and saw only writing.

"All books must contain the same contents, writing, writing and writing. Can't a book contain a picture?" asked Zhang Xiang.

Although Zhang Xiang was grumbling, he still grabbed the book and brought it to sit on a bench in front of the table that had been provided.

"What is this book? I'm actually lazy to read books, but I don't know why this book caught my attention," he said while looking at the book.

The book titled 'Blue Gem' with a feeling of dislike Zhang Xiang began to open the first page of the book, just flipping through the pages, without reading it. Until it came to the fifth page, there was a title that read 'Blue Jade' on that page, there was also a picture of a jade key that was exactly the same as the key on his necklace.

"This is my necklace pendant, why is it the same? And the name is 'Blue Jade?' Is this the same jade key that second uncle meant?" asked Zhang Xiang to himself.

In the first uncle's room.

Jing Beiyuan returned to the first uncle's room after leaving Zhang Xiang in the dining room. He had just entered the room, but was already greeted with the scene of the brothers arguing. Even the loud, stern voice sounded very sinister to Jing Beiyuan's ears, despite his illness. The voice came from the mouth of Zhang Yong, the first uncle, who was lecturing Han Ying, the second uncle.

"Can't you be nice to your nephew?"

Han Ying frowned. "What kind of kindness does big brother want? Haven't I already been nice to that useless brat?" Han Ying said.

"HAN YING! WATCH WHAT YOU SAY!"

"What, you want to get angry? Can't accept me calling him a useless boy? Isn't he actually useless? What can he do?" asked Han Ying in a mocking tone.

"He's still a kid! That doesn't mean he's useless!" First Uncle replied in a stern tone.

"Tsk! I don't care what big brother says! What is clear in my eyes is that Zhang Xiang is just a useless little kid!"

"HAN YING...!!! YOU--"

"Big brother is already big brother, don't get emotional, big brother has just recovered." Jing Beiyuan said as she gently rubbed her brother's back.

"Just take care of your treasure-crazy brother!" Said the first uncle with anger.

Suddenly, the second uncle who heard that immediately turned his body around and looked at the first uncle with a hateful gaze.

"No need! I can take care of myself, you better take care of yourselves and never interfere!" Said the second uncle in a stern tone.

After saying that, he went outside and left the first brother's room. While the first uncle who saw it just stared in surprise at his younger brother, but he did not want to think about his brother's behavior anymore because he was afraid that it would interfere with his health again.

"Never mind sis now just rest, don't think too much about something that's not important," said the second uncle.

**

The second uncle ran out of the room angry. He was disappointed with the first brother who kept scolding him about the jade key dispute, not only that, the first uncle also always interfered with his problems. It was as if he didn't like it when he participated in the struggle for the jade key brought by Zhang Xiang.

"Aarrgghttt...!!!"

"Can't he just interfere once?" Asked the second Uncle in an angry tone.

Brakk...

Second uncle kicked the table in the room very hard. Then he threw the earthen vase full of beautiful ancient carvings onto the floor.

"Damn it! Just look at that useless brat, I'll make sure the jade key falls into my hands!" Second uncle threatened seriously.

Then after that, the second uncle left the room, and waltzed away to a hall that was the gathering place for everyone. In this place there was also a seat of power where the leader sat on his seat of power controlling all the members.

Just as the second uncle was about to climb onto the seat of power, a few seconds later the voice of a bodyguard stopped him.

"Sorry second master!"

Suddenly, the second uncle turned his body around and looked towards the source of the voice. The two bodyguards were bowing to the second uncle. Upon seeing that, he immediately frowned.

"What's wrong?" He said coldly.

"Regarding the big meeting, we heard that there is a rumor that the meeting will take place in a few days."

Suddenly, the second uncle knitted his eyebrows fiercely. "Says who?" he asked.

"Sorry sir, we heard it directly from the people. It's all the rage out there," he said.

After receiving the report from the bodyguards, he asked the two bodyguards to return to their places.

The second uncle was still silent thinking about this matter, between confusion and surprise that both overcame him. The meeting would be held soon, the first uncle was sick, while they had not yet thought of a strategy, it made the second uncle sigh softly. A few seconds later the third uncle came and immediately asked the second uncle.

"What's wrong?" he asked suddenly.

"There will be a big meeting soon!" He replied.

That made the third uncle jump in surprise. "Huh? Who said that?" he asked.

"The bodyguard said. We haven't even done anything yet, and first brother is also sick. There's no way we can think of everything on our own."

They both fell silent, thinking about this matter. Although the second uncle was angry with the first uncle, but he could not do all this alone, especially this matter was the big meeting day that all the sect leaders were waiting for, the battle would definitely happen, even all the weapons came out on the day of this big meeting.
