Big meeting issues

"Tonight I will help you heal the wound first; I am afraid that the wound will get worse," Fu Jiu said to Zhang Xiang.

Zhang Xiang just nodded obediently, obeying the Vampire Valley chief's request. Xiang Hua helped Zhang Xiang sit on a bed, as they were now in an inn in a township in the city. Fu Jiu asked Zhang Xiang to take off his clothes for a moment so that he could treat in peace, after which Fu Jiu took out a cloth bag that he took from his pocket. Zhang Xiang did not know what was in the bag until a few seconds later, Fu Jiu took out three dried leaves from the bag. He then placed the three dried leaves into a container filled with water. Zhang Xiang watched every process Fu Jiu went through, not knowing what he was doing.

After a few seconds, the dried leaves turned soft. Seeing that Fu Jiu's hand immediately grabbed the leaves and squeezed them, he only took the leaves to place them on the stab wound.

"Zhang Xiang, it might be a little painful, but try to hold it for a while!" Fu Jiu pleaded.

"Does it sting for long?" asked Jin Long worriedly.

"It won't take long."

Zhang Xiang nodded confidently. Once he got Zhang Xiang's approval, Fu Jiu immediately placed the leaf on Zhang Xiang's wound. Fu Jiu evenly spread the leaves all over the wound, especially in the center, right at the core wound where the sword blade cut Zhang Xiang's skin.

"Shhh... Akkhhh!"

"Is it that painful?" asked Jin Long as he looked at Zhang Xiang, who was wincing from the pain in the wound. It was so painful that Zhang Xiang was squeezing the sheets on the bed. Cold sweat was pouring down his face; his face, which was originally pale, was now red. While Fu Jiu didn't care about Zhang Xiang's moaning as he was enduring the pain of his wound, he was focused on healing the wound.

It was not only herbal leaves that were applied to Zhang Xiang's wound, but there were several other traditional medicines that he concocted specifically to treat wounds. After all the herbs were pureed, Fu Jiu applied some of the concocted leaves to Zhang Xiang's wound, after which Xiang Hua gave Zhang Xiang a small cup filled with the same concoction from Fu Jiu.

Zhang Xiang received the potion without waiting for Fu Jiu's signal. Zhang Xiang immediately drank the potion to the brim while enduring the stinging and bitter taste. Zhang Xiang was still bearing the pain of his wound, but he tried to remain strong and resolute so as not to be considered weak by others. After all, Zhang Xiang must start learning to familiarize himself with himself to stay strong in all circumstances because, to become a strong and great warrior like his dream, he must definitely feel the bitterness of a struggle.

Jin Long, who had been beside Zhang Xiang, continued to focus on him with a worried look. This made Jin Long look up and then ask Fu Jiu.

"Is this harmless?" he asked suddenly.

Suddenly, Fu Jiu frowned. "You think my potion is poison? Yes, it's definitely harmless. It does sting, hurt, and burn, but that's a sign that the medicine is reacting. There is no need to worry; all the poison inside Zhang Xiang's body will eventually come out, and the stab wound will also dry up with time."

Then Jin Long turned his head to look at Zhang Xiang. There were several times Zhang Xiang closed his eyes, which made Jin Long feel a little sorry for him. The young man in front of him was still too young to feel pain, but as he remembered his strong desire to become a warrior, Jin Long's gaze became cold.

He patted Zhang Xiang's shoulder lightly. "You should be able to endure the pain you are now suffering. Because when you do martial arts training later, you will definitely feel pain every day; even the pain you suffer now will be nothing compared to the pain you will receive when practicing later," Jin Long said firmly.

Jin Long's words left Zhang Xiang speechless. The pain he was suffering now was really painful; what about later? It made Zhang Xiang doubt his will. Many bad thoughts overcame him, and many negative images also existed in his memory. A few seconds later, his vision began to darken, his head ached, and cold heat spread throughout his body.

Uncle, why does my head feel so dizzy?" asked Zhang Xiang in a weak tone.

"What else do you feel?" asked Fu Jiu.

"Hot."

"No problem, just sleep; it will get better. It's a drug reaction; the hot and cold feeling is poison coming out; there's no need to worry."

Zhang Xiang nodded and slowly closed his eyes. In accordance with the vampire valley chief's order.

"Will he be alright?" asked Jin Long.

Fu Jiu nodded in response. "Of course, I don't know what happened to this kid. But according to my vision, the sword and the poison that entered Zhang Xiang's body are very unnatural."

The next morning, Zhang Xiang woke up at four in the morning, when the three young men had not yet woken up from their deep sleep. Zhang Xiang had already diligently cleaned up the bed and the room. The pain in his body had recovered; even the stab wound had dried up overnight. Although the reaction to the medicine was very painful, the results were also remarkable.

"Wow! This kid is diligent too."

Zhang Xiang ignored Xiang Hua, who suddenly came up behind him while crossing his arms in front of his chest. Zhang Xiang was only focused on tidying up the room, but Xiang Hua continued to follow him while interrupting. This made Zhang Xiang a little disturbed, but he did not vent all his emotions to Xiang Hua; he just stayed quiet and focused until Xiang Hua suddenly grabbed the broom that Zhang Xiang was holding by force. Suddenly, Zhang Xiang was shocked by Xiao Hua's sudden action.

"What the hell are you doing?" asked Zhang Xiang in an irritated tone.

"Borrow it for a while!"

"I still want to use it."

"But-"

"Ekhemm!!!"

Suddenly, they turned their heads towards the source of the sound.

"Master!"

"Uncle!"

"What are you doing so early in the morning?" Fu Jiu asked them.

"Ha? Nothing; we're just having a normal chat, master," Xiao Hua replied as she glanced at Zhang Xiang, but he did not pay any attention.

That must not have escaped the observation of the two young men who were standing in front of him. They looked at each other, then Jin Long looked at the broom in Zhang Xiang's hand and frowned.

"Has your wound healed?" asked Jin Long.

"It has, uncle."

"Good then."

A few seconds later, Fu Jiu invited them to go out to look for food because there was no food at all in the pavilion. The three of them nodded in agreement with Fu Jiu's invitation, after which the four of them walked out into the pavilion to look for food. They arrived at a market where food vendors gathered, selling not only food but also various other necessities. Zhang Xiang, who had never been to the market, stared at the vendors with an admiring gaze.

Zhang Xiang walked here and there, looking at the merchants and their sales. Followed by Xiao Hua, who was controlling Zhang Xiang from behind, watching him not do anything embarrassing with his two uncles.

Puk...

"Can you not be embarrassing?"

"Me? Embarrassing? What did I do?" asked Zhang Xiang innocently.

This made Xiao Hua stare angrily at Zhang Xiang, the innocent and shameless man. "Haish! With you acting like this, it's really embarrassing! Like someone who has never been to the market," Xiao Hua quipped in a cold tone.

"Indeed."

"What, you've never been to the market?"

Zhang Xiang shook his head.

"He never comes to the market because his uncle doesn't allow him to leave the pavilion. So his days are spent playing indoors," Jin Long said.

"Where exactly is he from?" asked Fu Jiu.

Jin Long shrugged his shoulders indifferently. "I don't know either; I never asked," he replied casually.

Then Fu Jiu called Zhang Xiang over to the two of them. "Zhang Xiang! Come here!" Fu Jiu called out

"Yes, uncle, what's wrong?"

"If I may know where you are from?"

"I'm from Hua San Mountain."

In that instant, Fu Jiu fell silent. Hua San Mountain is the place where everyone is currently targeting because of the existence of the jade key that is held directly by the sect's successor candidate, the son of the great warrior couple who founded Hua San Sect. Fu Jiu then focused on Zhang Xiang. He was not sure if Zhang Xiang was the person that everyone was after because the key he was holding physically did not look like a warrior's son at all. And that made Fu Jiu think that Zhang Xiang was not the person he was looking for.

Seeing Fu Jiu, who was silent, made Zhang Xiang ask Fu Jiu. "What's wrong, uncle?"

"Huh? Nothing; I'm just asking. For now, let's find a place to eat," he said, changing the conversation.

They finally believed Fu Jiu's alibi. He invited the three of them to choose a place, then across to an eatery that looked quite quiet. Without further ado, they went inside and ordered food.

After ordering the food, they waited for the order to come, but in the middle of waiting for the food, suddenly they heard a group of visitors who were talking loudly about a big meeting. This was clearly heard by Jin Long, Fu Jiu, Xiao Hua, and Zhang Xiang.

"What are they talking about?" asked Jin Long curiously.

"I don't know," Fu Jiu replied, pretending not to know.

Zhang Xiang, on the other hand, fell silent when he heard the conversation. He knew about the big meeting, which made him a little worried.

'The big rectification is about to be carried out? What about my uncle's fate? There will definitely be many sect leaders coming to the meeting; uncle must be worried about me right now.' Zhang Xiang thought
