Driving through traffic, he decided that it was time for her to stay with him in the estate. If she was going to lose her memory then she might as well regain better ones where she was rich and not lacking in any way.

He wondered what her former life was like. Was she rich or was she poor? Did she have families or was she an orphan? Was she loved or was she hated?

Whatever problems she had, he had to create better memories with the lady. That was the only way for him to redeem himself for what he had done to her.

“Hello grandfather,” he greeted after seeing the old man in his study playing chess by himself. That was his favorite game.

He wondered why the man had not gone on to be a chess grandmaster but instead stayed at home playing by himself.

“Richardson,” the man looked up with a smile on his face. “Where did you go? I looked everywhere for you.”

“I was… out,” he sighed, joining Damien at the table.
