Chapter 103

“Please let me go,” begged Mary, still holding her cheek with the crowd sneering at her. She could feel the tears leaving her eyes while they rolled down her cheeks to gather at her chin.

“So you would leave with what you’ve stolen?” the attendant said with hatred in her voice as she slapped the lady again, this time louder than before.

Mary fell back, tearing down the clothes which hung on the wardrobes.

“Oh shit!” someone gasped as a whole section of exotic clothes broke out of their glass hangers, falling to the ground in numbers.

Everyone watched in shock at the mess which laid before them and in the middle of the mess, Mary sobbed with her hands on her cheeks.

She stood to her feet to look around, seeing broken glasses around the floor. It had not been her fault but she knew she would be blamed for it anyway.
