Chapter 114

A click went through as she heard his groggy voice on the phone which made her heart leap for joy.

“Jennie?” he said with a heavy breath.

“Hello, Richardson,” she said with a gift of thanks in her voice. “I’m sorry to bother you but I need your help right now.”

“What is it?” he could sense the urgency in her voice which got him up. “What is going on?”

“I came to a store to shop with my mother and I’m being thrown out of it,” she complained at the verge of tears. “There I met Michael and Alice.”

“They’re with you?” he asked with a tinge of surprise in his voice.

“Yes they are,” she confirmed. “We got into a little argument and they insulted me and everything and I couldn’t keep quiet about it so I told them off. Now they went and told the security whatever they said and they are about to kick us out.”

“How dare they!” his deep voice thundered through the speaker loud enough for the security guards to hear it.

“I don’t know what to do, Richardson. This is really embarrassing. I’m sorry
