Chapter 140

Richardson hadn’t intended to splash Alice water on purpose. He had not even known she was the one his driver had splashed water on.

He had been busy with the meeting he was having over his laptop and had only asked his driver to stop after hearing someone scream.

After a few seconds of the incident, he watched as someone battered against his window before rounding the car asking that the driver open the door and face her.

Rolling his window down, he was shocked to find out it was Alice. He seemed to be bumping into her too much these days. He had to find other routes to avoid doing that.

He looked at her from her head to her toe to find her drenched in dirty water. He wasn’t that petty to splash her water on purpose. It had been a genuine mistake.

He realized that there was no need to get into a fight with her as it was beneath him. He had no choice but to apologize.

Getting out of the car, he smiled at her expecting the worst.
