Chapter 193

Alice started to muse over how she was going to rock the shoes and make most of the women around her jealous. They were the shoes everyone was talking about.

She could not stop looking at them and wondering how everything had come to her on a platter of gold.

She tested the shoes out in front of a mirror while knowing that by the time she would wear them, people would turn their heads to see who she was forgetting that she was the one with the scandals.

She wasn’t going to let whatever Michael was saying or doing get to her. She was going to live her life and enjoy it all.

The day went by without a hitch as she laid in bed to sleep not knowing where her boyfriend was. He was nowhere to be found and he had not come back home or called.

She did not call him as well. There was no need. He was not important to her if he was not going to get her needs. He was as good as useless to her.

She fell asleep and by morning she awoke with excitement as she knew it was time to rock her new shoes.
