Michael knew there was nothing more to do but to keep on brainstorming options that he would use before actively going out to look for a job.

He could not keep living like this.

His stomach rumbled to remind him that he had not eaten anything that day. He looked about to find a half eaten sandwich on a table which was no longer fresh and it looked like a meal from yesterday.

Straining to his feet, he picked up the sandwich which he tossed into the trash can.

On his way back to the bedroom, he opened the fridge to get something to eat. There was not much left as he started to go through the options there which he would take up before going back to his self pity spot.
