Chapter 51

The two men arrived at the tennis court in the estate dressed in tennis clothes. The evening sun brimmed golden as they played around the court.

Richardson was impressed at the physicality of his grandfather who was stronger than he looked.

“You lose again, kid,” the man chuckled, before signaling to Tom to get him a towel.

“Are you okay?” Richardson asked his grandfather who was panting heavily.

“I just ran around the field beating your ass in a game of tennis,” he laughed. “Of course I’m exhausted. You think greatness comes easy?”

“You did marvelously well Sir,” Tom applauded the man, leaving the court when he was done with what he had been called for.

Damien and Richardson sat on a bench, admiring the court before them. It was large and looked like a professional one.

“I remember when I used to play tennis with your father,” the old man began his tales, cleaning his face with a towel. “He was just as horrible as you were.”
