“Yeah,” concurred Richardson. He was beginning to enjoy his grandfather’s company. The man was the only father figure in his life.

He wondered what would have happened if he had ended up being born as the man’s son and had grown up in a wealthy home.

He would not have gone through the troubles he had gone through. However, the past could not be changed and as such he was the man’s grandson.

He was the heir to his grandfather’s wealth, it was time to start acting like it and start living like it.

A shout made the two men look into the party as they found someone on the ground, bleeding.

“How dare you?!” someone yelled out in anger, jumping onto the man on the floor to land several punches on his face.

“Should we… do something?” Richardson asked, following his grandfather into the party hall.

“No,” Damien responded, nodding to a guard who intervened, taking the two men out of the hall with the cleaners cleaning up the mess which had been caused.

Very professional, thought Richardson.
