Chapter 63

“What would you have, Sir?” the bartender asked Michael who had been leaning over the table, lost in his thoughts. He was still trying to piece together the source of Richardson’s wealth.

“A martini,” he sighed, settling into a stool.

How did it happen? How had he become so rich overnight, he thought as he sipped his drink.

He looked at Richardson with hatred, watching him laugh with some men as they fell into a couch together. They were all having fun and that bothered him.

Michael hated that feeling of being low. He hated being walked over.

Taking a huge gulp of his drink, he stood to his feet, walking to where Richardson and three of the empire men who he could recognize were seated.

He could recognize the men as he had seen them in person a couple of times and they had graced the face of the internet a few times as well. They worked for the company as they were related to the owner of the company.

What Michael was unsure of, was Richardson’s relationship to these men.
