Chapter 98

Richardson heard Tom’s car hum in the garage getting him to jog to the place. He reached just in time to see the man get out of the car with a downcasted look on his face.

“You still couldn’t find anything huh?” asked the heir to the butler who shook his head.

“Nothing. But I did find a nice spot for a new shawarma business venture if you’re into that.”

Richardson could tell that the old man was trying to cheer him up but it was not working out well. He still felt bad about dropping Mary in the hospital without an idea of who she was or who her family was.

How was she going to regain her memory with foreign people around her? At this crucial time she needed her family around and not new people. That could make her condition worse.

The doctor had said that she would need to find something which would trigger her memories but nothing he did brought her memories back. He could instead feel her slipping further away from who she was supposed to be.
