Chapter 57

The place that should have been the door that connected our world just closed. It closed without knowing why; it looked like a big stone covered the connected door. But it was not as hard as stone. We touched and felt them one by one.

"We need to dig in." I suggested it to them because I thought it was dry mud.

"Let’s try." Myrdin agreed, not his head.

Nym and Myrdin stood side by side and started digging in the mud. The mud started to fall, and it became thinner than before. I was so excited and started to jump in while helping them. I used both of my hands to dig in.

"Why isn't this wall of mud crumbling?" Nym was already babbling in annoyance.

The mud wall in front of us was already thinning, but how come we couldn't see its end at all? "Are we digging in the wrong place?" I muttered.

"No way, I'm sure his place is here." Myrdin was still digging enthusiastically.

The wall of mud we had dug barely covered half of my feet. I'm also starting to run out of steam, as are Myrdin and Nym
