Mr. Michael Anderson's face was a mask of frustration as he paced back and forth in his lavish living room. His son Lewis had been detained for almost a month, and the only thing on his mind was finding out who had the influence to keep him locked up despite his best efforts to pull strings. It was an insult to his personality.

Finally, Lewis had been released, but the whole event left a bitter taste in Michael's mouth. He couldn't stop the feeling that someone powerful was working against him, and he was eager to find out who.

Michael slammed the phone down after another fruitless call. "This is absurd! How can no one know anything? I have connections in every major department, and yet, no one can tell me who has this much influence!"

Eloise Anderson, his wife, looked up from her book, trying to calm him. "Darling, maybe it's time to let it go. Lewis is home now, and that's what matters."

"Let it go? How can I let it go when someone out there has more power over the police than I do?
