“Hey, it’s going to be alright, Harvey,” Nadia said one cold night as they huddled together under a bridge.“I know, Nadia, but I’m so tired,” Harvey replied, with a shaky voice filled with exhaustion.

“We have to keep running. If they find us, we’re done for,” Nadia said firmly, urging her little brother to work faster.

They spent their days searching for food and shelter, and their nights hiding from the world. Nadia took on odd jobs, anything from washing dishes to delivering newspapers, to earn just enough to feed themselves.

One day, while Nadia was hustling, looking for daily bread for her and Harvey, she stumbled upon an old newspaper article about the death of their mother.

It detailed the mysterious death of the poor woman. The woman who was formerly the mistress of the late billionaire, Mr. Stephenson.
