ONE HUNDRED AND FORTY FIVE

Harvey stood close to the window, his face etched with frustration as he ran a hand through his hair. He had spent countless hours poring over documents, searching for clues, and following up on leads, but nothing seemed to add up. The thief was still among them, siphoning money from his company, and every day that passed was another day of losses. Today, his sister had dropped by to check on him. Since this whole thing started I had been trying my best not to get her to worry too much but then, I can't just help it.

"Any luck yet?" Nadia asked, leaning against the doorway. Harvey sighed, shaking his head. "No, Nadia. Nothing. We've gone through everything, every account, every transaction, and it’s like this person knows exactly what they’re doing. It's frustrating."
