Vera was even more startled by the question, but she didn't show it. Instead, she shook her head.

"No idea—I have been busy, you know."

Evan nodded. She had told him about some moguls that she needed to entice.

"Why? Let me guess, you saw her at the event."

He glanced at her and she smiled. "You're so predictable, you know."

"And that's because you know me."

"So what happened?" She asked again. She was already getting very curious.

"Well, that's it."

She shook her head, but just as she was about to say something. He interrupted her immediately.

"I want you to hack into the CCTV. There are tons of them in that location that could give us an idea of whoever the culprit is."

Vera knew that for him to have asked her to have the security camera, meant that something was indeed very wrong. The thing is, she had no idea how wrong was the wrong.
