Evan strode back to his car, the unconscious Christel in his arms. He carefully placed her in the backseat and closed the door, making sure it was locked before getting into the driver's seat. As he sat down, he let out a deep breath, trying to shake off the adrenaline that had been coursing through his body. His eyes trailed around and finally rested on the driver's mirror.

"Send someone to trail after Davis and make sure he doesn't do any shady deals," Evan said to the speaker and Claus's voice sounded from the phone.

"I understand your concern sir, but... do we have to interfere with his life?" Claus asked and Evan's brow furrowed slightly.

"I know what I am doing Claus." He said as his eyes fixed on Christel who was still unconscious. "And I have a hunch on who wanted Christel dead... but I just have to confirm my suspicion first,"
