 " A monster attack!”

Hearing Tracy's reply,Ethan could confirm that his guess was in point. Just like Tracy, everyone brought out their weapons in preparation to fight.

Then the watch tower in the middle of the field started to blare a string of messages out of it's PA system.

[TING TING TING. Monster attack incoming, monster attack incoming,it's advised that all non-combatant civilians should take shelter in the anti monster bunkers. Wall gunners take your positions. Powermasters take your position. Expected time of contact : next five minutes! Battle hatch will be opened in the next two minutes.]

Hearing the messages you would have expected the civilians to start panicking but the opposite was the case. As if they had taken countless drill each civilian that wasn't able or couldn't fight simply rushed towards an underground bunker to hide.

The wall gunners whose jobs were to simply provide cover fire to the powermasters were already arming themselves while rushing to the walls to take their positions.

Looking at the whole scene, Ethan's jaw was literally touching the ground. If the early morning routine was already enough for him to look at in awe, then this was just next level.

Most of those here we're civilians who should have been a headache to control given that there was a monster attack. The reality however was so so unexpected. They were so organised they could even put some countries armies to shame.

Right then the gigantic metal gate that also served as the bridge over the moat opened a small gate at the bottom that was just enough to allow one person to pass.

   “Let's move guys!"

Seeing this Thomas gave the call to advance and they started moving, the other powermaster teams were already converging there.

Picking up a sabre on the training rack,Ethan was about to follow them when a hand held his shoulder.

 “Huh?"

Looking back it was none other than Tracy.

  “Where are you going?"

With one eyebrow raised, she asked causing Ethan to suddenly feel lost. Where was he going?

  To fight of course!

However as if she could read his eyes, Tracy quickly doused that with her words. You'd better stay here Ethan. That place isn't a playground.”

“But big sis I can fight!"

" With those baby muscles of your's?"

 Everyone: “....."

  Critical damage +1000%!!!

Ironically, the heroine became a villainess in a mater of minutes as she used the same words she was telling Dave not to use.

 “Pfft!”

“Haha hahaha!"

Despite the monster attack that was about to occur, everyone couldn't stifle the laughter in them.

“Just stay here kiddo, we'll be back soon.“

Watching the backs of the Stinging Nettles members as the made their way to the gate,Ethan felt a little bit angry before he simply sighed.

He wasn't a weakling, in fact he often felt that he had endless energy waiting for a chance to escape inside him. How was he to explain that he had this desire to always do battle raging in his head.

Sadly there was no way he could explain all that to them without sounding crazy.

He knew that they were just trying to ensure his safety so he had no choice.

“Well I'll just duke it out with the wall gunners and watch the battle at the same time.”

Picking a machine gun from the weapons he was about to leave when he spotted a sniper rifle lying on the shelf. Shrugging he dropped the machine gun before he picked the sniper rifle up while also grabbing a pack of bullets too. Then he picked a metal harpoon like spear before heading up the wall.

“Yo Ethan you also came?"

  “Yeah Mike."

“I never knew you could shoot a gun!"

“I knew received trainings from my dad Melissa."

There he saw some of the civilians at their position and they exchanged greetings. Although he had just arrived at the camp in just five days his popularity was like he had been there for the past one or two months!

Setting up his stuff in one of the gaos on top of the walk,he placed the sniper rifle there before looking at the weapon with a confused look.

  “Why did I pick it?”

Sure since he was standing at the top of a wall a sniper would have made more sense. However, the thing was that he wasn't that good with his aiming. Holding a sniper rifle was the same thing as holding a machine gun. He was better off with the spear in his hand.

However, he had already picked it and there was no going back at this time as the monsters had already make their appearance.

   ROAAR!!!!

  SCREECH

AWOOO

The sounds of the beasts was the first to arrive and not long after the makers of said sound made their appearance. A huge horde that went far back into the first was making it's way over here. At the very least ther had to be a hundred monsters there!

Standing at the other end of the moat, the Stinging Nettles and the other two teams of powermaster were already at attention.

The first team, the Vanguards was the biggest team with twelve members and was led by Tyson, Thomas's brother followed by the Wild jackals which was led by a another person and had ten members and finally the Stinging Nettles which only had six members.

Seeing the horde of monster made up of a dizzying variety and number anyone would feel an head ache coming in but not them. Instead they felt their blood boiling as they anticipated the battle that was about to unfold.

Glancing at the leader of the Wild jackals and his brother,Tyson nodded his head before giving the command.

  “Attack!”

And then, both humans and monster collided in the most brutal ways possible!

“Arrgh, take this!” Although he was not the first person to charge out,Thomas was still the first to arrive in front of the monster horde. Without hesitating a bit he raised his gigantic battle hammers in a large vertical swing before bringing it down on the approaching monsters. “Earth crusher!” Instantly, the earth cracked and actually rose up as if it were rippling waves of water. This in turn caused the approaching monsters to get swept off their feet by the enormous force. “Rooar!” Whimpering in fear, the monsters in front tried to run back but unfortunately for them, those coming from the rear weren't giving them any chance to do so leaving them at the mercy of Thomas's hammers which wasn't exactly desirable either, no? “Come die you moth*r fu*kers!” BANG! Slamming the hammers left and right,a lot of monsters were either knocked out or were outright killed, crushed to pieces. The amount of monsters that were taken out in that one hit was at the very least ov

Wall gunners prepare for battle!” “Oh yeah!” “Shoot those mother fu*kers!” Dratttatt! “Finally something to do,my hands have been itching for action since!” Soon the sounds of bullet casings richochetting on the walls was the only thing that could be heard as some of the monsters were finally able to get to the moat. The function of the wall gunners was very simple—man the wall and using the advantage of their high position monitor the whole battlefield and kill one or two monster that got too close for comfort. It was that simple! It was just that most if not all the time they rarely had anything to do since the monsters were usually destroyed before they even had the chance to get close. However this time they finally had the chance to shine! Cocking the sniper rifle,Ethan placed it on the gaps between the wall while peering into the periscope. Placing his hands on the trigger he closed his eyes. Breathe in ,breathe out… The moment his eyelids closed it was

The hell they would believe that. Hearing his response,Mike felt like giving Ethan a knock but he dared not. Who knew what the kid still had up his sleeves! Never touched a gun before? As if I'll believe that! However the expression on his face said otherwise as he continued asking with a big smile on his face. “Wow you must be a prodigy then,or are you a powermaster?” There was other explanation that Mike could think of except the kid being a powermaster. However, the reply was the direct opposite. “No.” “Oh I thought you were…” Seeing the kid shake his head Mike actually felt bad for him. Just like all of them that were on this wall they were all ordinary civilians who could only watch the select few fight it out down below. Who's blood wouldn't boil when he saw the climatic battle below? But then when he remembered the insane gun skills he displayed his mood soured immediately. Unlike he and the other wall gunners who were just ordinary civilians with a bit of skil

Arrgh… Looking at his brother's corpse dangling from the claw of the devil ape Thomas's eyes turned red. “I'll kill you!" "Hehehehe." Tossing the dead body on it's claw aside it started to make it's way towards the last remaining human that was still standing. Although these few humans were not that strong they were able to cause it a surprising amount of damage. It was humiliating to even think about it. And the only way to wipe away that humiliation was to kill off this last human. While it might not be able to speak it still understood stuff and it wasn't difficult to understand that this human and the dead one were related. It also had an understanding of what the two spoke about which it found extremely comical. Regardless of how angry this human kneeling before it was feeling nothing was going to change. He was still going to die under his fists. Huff huffSeein

Seeing this General Lebronsky who was already tired from having to deal with new problems before finishing the old ones surged with annoyance. “Talk will you!” “Sor-sorry general.” Taking a deep breath, the soldier was finally able to compose himself before saying with difficulty. “Camp Raisin was attacked." "What did you say?!” Abruptly the general rose up from his seat while a wild dangerous aura spread outwards from him causing the young soldier to uncontrollably step back in fear. “Oh!” Looking at the pale face of the soldier General Lebronsky quickly reined back his aura in. He had just been injected with the powermaster serum and was still in the process of getting used to the changes it brought to him therefore there were occasional leaks that he couldn'

Seated around this table were the members of the Stinging nettles though they were visibly missing two members. The next thing was how bright the room was and the fact that there were some communication equipment there. In fact there was a wall mounted screen that was showing a 3D map of sorts directly opposite him. It was like this place was never cut off from the grid. How was that possible?! Since day one of the apocalypse power had been totally cut off with all electrical appliances and gadgets turning useless. Plus this place was on the outskirts of Barnes city,in an abandoned military training base!Even if there was electricity here previously, there shouldn't be any here now. This however, further affirmed his belief that what was about to be said in this room would definitely be weighty. It might truly affect the continued existence of the Raisin camp!

Honestly speaking,Thomas felt that he wasn't supposed to ask this question. In fact he shouldn't have asked if he was being logical here. However as the leader of the Raisin camp now he just had to. He had to be selfish for the lives of the over two hundred people that was at stake if he didn't. Looking at their faces he could see the hesitation and reluctance causing him to feel like this was a lost cause. He couldn't blame them though as their fears were pretty understandable. They had just fought with a commander tier monster and it totally wrecked them. Demon fang mountain Countless military trucks and armoured tanks with the AADAF central military base logo could be seen making their way over the rugged mountain terrain. Despite how bad the road was,the vehicles hardly shook all thanks to how well designed they were. At a single glance there were about thirty vehicles here! “Halt! Where here." Inside the drivers compartment of each of the vehicles General Lebronsky's voice could be heard causing every car to come to a stop. “Fall into formation now!" Giving the next order, the soldiers in each of the trucks quickly rushed out of the vehicles before falling into neat formations. Clearly they had practiced this for a while now. Walking out of the military jeep that he was in , General Lebronsky along with the other powermasters from the volunteering camps made their way over. “Men…were here. This is the lair of the Xenogenic Alpha blade. I'm sure that your leaders have already explained the situation to you so I won't

Afternoon. The time of the day when the sun was at its peak. Due to the special geography of Barnes city and it's environs it received a lot of sun daily. The highest temperature recorded in the day had once reached a staggering 41 degrees Celsius! While today's temperature wasn't that high it was still hot enough to cause one to sweat bullets. With how hot everywhere was the best thing to do right now would be to sleep and that was what the sentrys of the AADAF base were currently doing. While you might accuse them of slacking off on duty they couldn't really be blamed. Furthermore, the probably wouldn't have anything to do since the monsters that were supposed to attack them would be busy battling the Hellstrike expedition force so they really wouldn't have much to do. The strike force had left the camp over two hours ago and by now they should just be approaching the mountain range, the battle that would decide if humans could continue settling around this area would soon begi

Countless personnel were on ground to direct and coordinate the activities currently ongoing. WOOSH, WOOSH, WOOSH! Over a dozen armoured vans wheezed by as they drove towards a mini parking lot where they halted while military grade trucks reversed so that the ammunitions and supplies could be placed in them. Operation Hellstrike commenced today! Well technically not today as it had started ever since General Lebronsky first tabled the idea. However,in a sense it was still right as this was the first time that something tangible would be done. Previously the only thing being done was just preparations, today was the day that they would really advance to put the operation in motion. “Today finally came!" Standing at the edge of the window of the finally completed command center general Lebronsky muttered under his breath as he watched the proceedings bel

There was a black motorcycle in the back while four people consisting of three men and a lady sat surrounding it. Inside the truck there were two men,one driving while the other was well not really doing anything bringing the total to six. Suddenly from one of the abandoned houses on the side of the road a tiger like monster suddenly jumped out with the intention of ambushing the truck. However, before it could even step on the asphalt, there was a bang and it fell on the spot having received a bullet to the head. Blowing the smoke off the tip of the gun,the shooter proceeded to place the weapon by his side while watching the number faces of his co travellers. As you might have guessed, the group was none other than Ethan and the five man group from earlier in the day. They were currently travelling together to the AADAF central base. Concerning the event that happened in the morning,

He really was lucky. After removing the key from the ignition and ensuring that everything was set,he started to make his way into the store but not before grabbing his weapons. Pushing the double glass doors open,he entered with utmost caution while gripping the saber with both hands, the sniper rifle on his back.
