Jasper and Thane slowly backed away from the tent their eyes as big as moons inside their sockets. Once they were far enough away, they turned and hurried back to Borne. Tomas looked at Jasper with a confused gleam in his eye. “What do you know about that I don’t? You know nothing! It is a stalling technique, I am sure. Now let us get this over with. Thane’s face was full of forlorn. “It matters not. If Tomas was responsible for my father’s death he will pay for his crimes. For now, we need to protect our packs.
