Chapter 16

Jasper’s arm was beginning to tingle and go numb. This had never happened to him before. He had no idea how to stop it. The glowing began to intensify as Jasper’s entire arm started to feel like it was no longer there. He had been through so many strange occurrences in his long life that it was easy for him not to panic over this.

As fast as the glowing started it stopped, giving him feeling back in his arm. “What the hell was that?” Jasper asked himself. He placed the thought away with all the other questions he had racked up. He had more pressing concerns at the moment. He needed to figure out where he was, and if it would be possible to get back to Sylvia. At least he did not have to worry about money this time around. A perk of never sleeping and only drinking blood.

Before he even got a chance to try there was a bright blast of orange light. As soon as the light went away a small man in a clock was in its place. “Jasper Monroe! How are your many lives treating you these days?”
