Chapter 19

As the night became pitch black Jasper and Alec sat at the fire, Jasper asked out of curiosity, “Alec, who does this cabin belong to? It obviously did not belong to these two petty thieves.” Alec laughed. “You really do not have much of your memories at all. This house actually belongs to you, Jasper. Your mate and you bought the land here centuries ago as a means to get away every now and again. She built this cabin with you in mind.” Jasper was in awe that Sylvia did this for him. He guessed he always talked about building one and she wanted to have it ready incase he ever came home. The thought of that saddened him, for he had no idea when he would see her again. He hoped he would not have to wait another three hundred years.
