Jasper was suddenly mystified as to how this small vampire child knew of his deception. It made no logical sense that she not only knew of his lie but of what his actual plan was. He has seen and heard in stories, movies, and television shows that vampire have unique gifts. He knew however that every vampire he has met that he could recall held no such gift.
