Kelvin, who had seen how Zachary reacted wanted to follow after him but Grandma May stopped him with a pat on the hand. "Let them be. Nothing you say or do would change his mind if he's not ready."

Kelvin sat back and tried to continue his food, but he had already lost his appetite. "Do you think our grandson would easily let go?"

Grandma May smiled mildly. She knew that it would be hard for Arthur. A lot of times had passed and he had seen Nathan suffer and also went through a lot himself because of his father's irresponsibility. "Only time will tell. All I know is that they share a bond of father and son."

Turning to Kelvin, she continued. "Just like you can't stay mad at him for a long time without worrying."

"You're right." Kelvin's face brightened.

With Stone already waiting in the car, Zachary was about to open the back seat when Carlos held his arm.

"Son, please listen to me."

Shoving his hands aside, Zachary's face turned stern as he spoke with disgust. "Son?"
