The only reason why Eddie woke up was because he felt someone looking at him.

He thought it was Alicia until he felt a slap against his face.

Surprised, his eyes flew open, and there was Lucas, a strange look of fury and desperation on his face.

"Wake up, motherfucker." he said though gritted teeth.

"What-Lucas, what the hell are you doing here?" Eddie said, sitting up as Alicia woke up too, her expression confused, then guarded.

"Who are you? How'd you get in here?" Alicia asked, and Lucas wasted no time to pressing a blade against her throat.

Alicia cried out, a crazed look in Lucas's eyes.

"Don't say nothing, skank, and you won't get hurt." he threatened, Alicia's eyes going dark as she looked at him.

Eddie held on to her elbow, shaking his head, then turning his head to Lucas.

"What do you want now? Did your alpha send you here?" he asked, and Lucas scoffed, sounding a bit unhinged.

"That asshole doesn't give a shit about me. I was only leverage to make your life miserable." Lucas stated, more of the crazy entering in his voice.

"Still doesn't answer why you're here." Alicia said stiffly, and Lucas threw a lamp against the wall, glowering at her. She didn't even flinch.

"I can't compete and you're the owner of the fight club, Eddie. I want you to change the rules." he stated, hands balled into fists.

"Are you fucking dumb or something? You're fighting humans not werewolves. I ain't changing jack shit." he replied, and Lucas let out a frustrated sigh, pinching his nose bridge.

"I really didn't want to fucking do this, but it seems that my hands are tied." pressing a button on the side of his head, a strange whistle sounding out, windows shattering.

Eddie shielded Alicia from the glass, feeling cuts go on his arm and face.

Doors burst through, and Joseph's pack charged through, pulling the rest of Eddie's pack off of their beds.

Fights broke out, and Joseph stepped through, a smirk on his face.

"Nice work, bait. Now get the fuck out there, and help the others." he said.

Lucas did as he was told, only stopping to stare at Eddie for a beat longer, and then disappearing out the doorway.

Joseph casually strolled in, his eyes going from Eddie to Alicia. He looked her up and down, licking his lips, and Alicia ducked behind trembling a bit.

Seeing her do this, Joseph took a step closer.

No longer able to ignore the wolfish desire to defend his mate, and his territory, Eddie stood up, nearing close to Joseph.

"Get the fuck out, and you'll live." Eddie threatened, hands balled into fists as he bumped his chest against Joseph's.

Joseph merely smiled. "Let me take your mate off your hands, and then I'll think about it."

Eddie snapped; he charged at Joseph, shoving him down to the ground, eyes wild, teeth sharpened. Joseph reacted accordingly, his massive wolf form almost taking up the whole room.

This didn't scare Eddie at all; he launched himself at Joseph, snarling into his wolf form, their mouths snapping at one another as the walls were smashed as each one fought for the upper hand.

At one point, the tumbled out through the wall closest to the window, landing outside in the grass, their forms tangled as they bit in every available skin there was.

Eddie managed to be on top as his teeth sank into the side of Jospeh's neck, slamming his head down over and over again.

Joseph struggled to be freed, swiping at Eddie with his paws, and claws, but it was to no use. He howled, catching the attention of his pack, and they all came at once to Eddie.

Horrendous; Joseph's pack tore into Eddie, causing him to let go of Joseph who scrambled away, blood dripping on the side of his neck. He whimpered, and growled, his fur standing on edge.

Joseph's pack took turns biting Eddie on his hind legs, his fur, and trying to grab him into the death hold as he had Joseph in.

In a flash, four streaks crossed the threshold, and slammed into each of Joseph's pack, causing them to fal to the side.

Eddie's pack had come to the rescue, their growls, and barks taking over, as they stepped in and pulled back the pack from attacking all at once at Eddie.

Eddie's eyes locked on Joseph and he ran towards him, tackling him the furthest from the house, a sickening crunch sounding out.

Joseph let out a yelp, trying to pull away from Eddie who had him in a body lock.

As Eddie looked over Joseph, he grimaced seeing Joseph's paw twisted at the wrist, the paw and claws in a direction no hand should ever be.

"I warned you to stay away from my home but you didn't listen. Now, you're just going to pay." Eddie snarled in Joseph's face, some spittle landing on Joseph's nose.

And then a shot rang out, causing the chaos to cease.

Frantic eyes searched for the noise, noses in the air trying to sniff out the danger.

Then another shot rang out, a bullet flying a little over Joseph's shoulder, and as Eddie looked for the person that shot it, his eyes widened at the sight of his poor, injured wife.

She had a grim face, pointing at the gun at Joseph who began to shake like a leaf.

"I know you can survive most things but not this. These are silver bullets and I'm going to shoot every single one of them into she threatened, causing Joseph to shake even more as if he realized that he did have a weakness and a short woman was exploiting it just because.

Even the fight between the packs ceased, as they all stared Alicia, waiting to see what she was going to do next. Joseph's pack kept their distance, not trying to get in the way of them both.

Sure enough, the little store Pinkys still had it’s open sign on. Eddie parked the car, and ran in, going past the various bottles of alcohol, his eyes landing on a bundle of cilantro. He snatched it right up, heading back to the cashier, a smile on his face. He felt eyes on him suddenly, and he turned around, seeing a man in a long trench coat, and a hat that covered half of his facial features. Eddie glared at him, waiting for the guy to take a hint and to buzz off. The guy straightened up, walking out the door, the bell announcing him leaving. To say that he wanted to call in for his shift at Benito’s Carne y Dulces was an understatement, but deep down, Eddie really wanted some normalcy. Speaking of which, was the sun always this bright? Eddie found himself squinting as he walked into the small store, the bell tinkling. The smell of raw meat hit his nose, and his mouth watered a bit, the butcher in the back cutting what looked like a lamb’s leg. Eddie greeted him, hoping his seven-hour shift would be over in no time. He still had to show up to help Lucas with his own fighting, and he would be there just a little before nine. At the same time, Eddie hoped that the kid would dip out of it, because to be honest, he wanted to sleep the week away. As he was organizing the drinks, and taking inventory, the door opened, and absentmindedly, Eddie said “Welcome, just let me know when you’re ready!’ He heard the customer, a woman, reply lamely, and Eddie went back to checking off the number of bottles of vodka he had

When Eddie woke up, he was nude. He was passed out in a random part of grass, a cornfield to his left. He heard mooing, and saw a field of cows, watching him disinterested. Terry flashed Eddie a smile, and as he bounded down the steps, he didn't look like he wanted to say anything towards him though. But too bad for him, Eddie was already out of the car and running behind him. Alicia shouted for Eddie to stop, but he ignored her cries, tackling down Terry to the ground. They wrestled but Terry had the upperhand, as he did have more experience in combat than Eddie ever would. Eddie found himself pinned on his back, Terry's forearm pressed against Eddie's neck. "What the hell do you want, Eddie?" Terry asked, eyes glaring down at him. "I want to know what the hell you're doing here." he choked out, his vision getting a bit spotty as he began to lose air. Terry leaned back away from Eddie, and he sucked in a quick breath. "I had some business to attend to with the alpha." was all that he offered to say, getting up from the ground, and then helping Eddie out. Eddie took his hand wordlessly, standing up next to him. You just went ahead and did it! I have a life, you know." Eddie responded, hands balled into fists. "Bah! A life of poverty." the old man said, sitting up, a frown on his face. Eddie darted forward then, grabbing the oldster by the front of his shirt, shaking him a bit. "How can you say that when you have a similar background as me? Eddie laid on his back, and she clamored on top of him, gripping his shoulders tightly. Suddenly, her shirt came off, a lacy purple bra staring back at Eddie. (Fake) Marriage

Eddie is sitting in his room, hands in his hair. Now that everyone had gone out for food, and Alicia had gone out to Sacremento to get his grandmother and cousin settled in, he was very tired. Eddie felt drained, and his life got even more complicated now that he and Alicia were "married." He was curious about what had happened before her life, and he was going to ask her as soon as she got back. Then his thoughts went to Lucas and how he was now a part of Joseph's pack. This was the worst outcome that could have happened, and Eddie really needed a drink or a smoke. Getting up, he decided to head over to the local bar, where it was just on the other side of town, away from Joseph's claim. He didn't have the energy to stop fighting if problems arose; if joseph managed to find him, and decided to toy with him again, he wasn't going to stop until Joseph was dead. He placed on his shoes, walking outside as a summer breeze hit him. Eddie looked up at the sky, wher

Senora Lorena had even placed a rosary out, and said her prayers to them. They had laughed, but Abuelita explained that the only reason that had been done was because of how non-humans they were. Surely, there was something paranormal about them, demons or diablos pretending to be humans. Eddie didn't want to brush her worries off-she was spot on, but also he felt like revealing their true nature was a breach of something. He held his grandmother's hands, trying to comfort her. Beside hime, Addie had stopped talking, noticing the way he had stiffened. "Is something the matter?" she asked, which brought Brayden's attention.
