Silvana, her face pale but her eyes slowly regaining some of their sparkle, managed a weak smile. “I’m feeling a bit better, Aiden. The pain is still there, but seeing you here helps a lot.”

Ashley, who was standing on the other side of the bed, chimed in with a reassuring smile. “You’re a fighter, Silvana. We’ve all been so worried about you, but we know you’re strong. You’re going to get through this.”

Grandfather Kohler, standing near the foot of the bed, nodded in agreement. His voice trembled slightly as he spoke. “Yes, dear. You have always been resilient. We are here for you, every step of the way.”

Silvana looked at her family, her heart swelling with gratitude despite her physical pain. “Thank you, all of you. I don’t know what I would do without your support.”
