Chapter 90

Every guest that came to Zia’s birthday party was greeted warmly. Parents of Zia’s classmates mingled, exchanging pleasantries and watching their children enjoy the festivities. Aiden and Silvana made their way around the grand hall, thanking each parent and acquaintance for attending.

“Thank you so much for coming,” Aiden said to a couple, shaking their hands. “Zia has been looking forward to this day for weeks.”

“It’s our pleasure,” replied the father, smiling warmly. “Zia is a delightful child. Our daughter adores her.”

Silvana smiled, her eyes glowing with maternal pride. “We’re so glad to hear that. Zia talks about her friends all the time.”

After greeting everyone, Aiden led Silvana to a seat, sensing her need to rest. “Come, you’ve been on your feet all morning. Sit down for a bit.”

Silvana sighed in relief as she sank into the chair. “Thank you, Aiden. I think I overestimated my stamina today.”
