The frozen alpha

Chapter 03

Elvis's [P.O.V]

My wolf and I are busy wondering why my mum thinks it's best to take the body away from the laboratory, but then how does my frozen mate relate to the moon day?

The whole pack will know.

I'm finished.

"Nope… Dead." my mum replies.

"Mum, what about the moon day?" I asked her and she turned, giving me a look that set me exactly at why she had mentioned that. I knew It was because she wanted me to pray to the moon goddess for him.

"But mum... I am supposed to be praying for myself and it's strictly usually prayers with a female, not a dead man's body!" I said.

"I always wanted a unicorn" I said to her joking but it was actually a wish and a huge smile followed with a sign over her matured face.

"Grow up Elvis, one day, you would be an Alpha like your father and your priorities should not be on fantasies but on the well being of the pack which your mate will be a partner upon," she says to me, staring at my frozen mate.

"Fine! I'd wish him well, on the moon day" I said to my mum and she smiled proudly but I could see it in her eyes… she pitied my fate.

"Good boy! now help me to carry this frozen Alpha mate of yours," she says to me as I assisted her in carrying what seemed to be my mate.

I drafted a home permit and gave It to the laboratory officer which permits me as a doctor to do research on things at home and everything seemed to be going smoothly until we reached home.

My mum and I took the body to the house through the back yard only for a hard growl to be heard so strong that I knelt down, dropping my frozen mate in submission to the power of the alpha.

Issh caught!

Fuck! I'm screwed.

I knew It was my dad and he was angry, but then other growls came on again and I could already tell that something bad was about to happen to me or my mum.

Luna Mona holds me to herself with her powers radiating out from her body ready to be protective of me.

It was a warning sign to any foreign werewolf that thought of attacking us.

"Which uninvited guest are you sneaking into the pack!?" My dad, the alpha, asked her in a very furious deep tone.

"It is our son's mate and not an enemy," my mum says out and other wolves rejoice for me and a surprising look appears over my dad's face.

My mum walks towards my dad and whispers something in his ears as she hugged him.

His eyes were staring at me.

It turned red immediately.

A year rolled off my eyes as I stood my ground staring at my dad.

He was going to kill me now.

I could tell how sad he got.

"I want to see him!" My dad says as a command and my mum steps away from protecting me but with my body still covering that of my frozen mate.

My dad growled and I quickly stepped away feeling embarrassed at what he was to see.

I stared at his face as his eyes could already tell the shock that he had seen.

Tears rolled out from my eyes as he turned to look at me confused.

"What Is that?" He asked me as he walked closer to my frozen mate's body.

"That Is his mate, I think he was cursed to be frozen into this state by a powerful witch only to be broken by a mate's wish, he Is an alpha" Luna Mona explains to him.

"I know he is an alpha, I could feel his aura, he must be of a really great kind, but was unfortunate enough!" My dad says in a way that it sounds like a compliment but at the end, sounded like a sort of dishonor.

"Take the body in," my dad ordered as the other young alphas present came carrying his body into the mansion as I stared at them breathing in and out that they could tell of my sexuality already.

"Tomorrow is the moon day and I believe that you already know what to wish for? I hope your faith ends with peace" My dad says, staring straight at me and I acknowledge his words as he walks off.

"But mum! This is not fair at all, how come my mate turned out to be frozen and now I can't wish for a..." I said to my mum but she interrupted me immediately.

"I will punish you if you ever think of saying that you'd rather wish for a unicorn than your frozen mate who happens to be an Alpha! Find peace son! You need it." she said with her Luna aura and I yielded to her words as she walked away bold in power.

So I can never get what I want!

Great!

I ran into my room and climbed onto my bed but felt a weird material over my pillows, next to my neck.

I sat up and turned just to see a white looking dress with silver stones and gold platings over the cotton edges.

It looked extraordinarily handsome and I could not resist checking it out on myself.

I tried it on and I looked like an Alpha.

I knew that I had this for the full moon coming out by twelve o'clock tonight.

I can't believe the day has come where I would finally ask the moon goddess what I wish for and she would grant it for me.

It was said that the moon goddess will only grant one true wish and ignore the irrelevant others that you had wished for.

All the elders can't partake in the praying ritual as they have already done so when they were much younger and cannot go for it again as they might lose their lives in the process of doing so.

And It has been like that for a thousand years, and today Is my day. A smile erupted from my face. I was too excited to get into the ritual chambers where only alphas and Luna's go in to talk. It was divine.

I pulled off the clothes after talking to myself on what I'd ask the moon goddess for and all I discovered that I had my emotions and thoughts tied to was my frozen mate, which I had to pray for.

I walked downstairs to get a glimpse of his body, and my wolf begged to see more. He will soon get into his mating season, and the seductiveness of our mate's body was making both of us react badly at It.

I turned my eyes away running back to my room and closing the door as I wore my white dress and laid back on my bed... Already sleeping off.

But I later jumped up from my bed when I heard something that shocked all the fibers of my purest being.

It was the moons bound!

And It Is time.
