The promise

The first thing Arthur saw when he first woke up was the bright blue sky.

The darkness which hung over Lord Morok's domain had disappeared and a new look took over.

Arthur sat up and nursed the back of his head. He had a headache that could kill a horse.

He remembered defeating Lord Morok and this gave him a sense of joy.

"Man, that demon lord was tough," he said rising to his feet. "I can't believe he had a skill that dampens mana energy. Demon zone. That nearly killed me."

As Arthur straightened his back, he became aware his mana energy was boosting throughout his entire system as if they had been restored.
