Vortrax the Ruthless

Arthur and Lily stepped out of the cave's exit.

They found a small stream meandered through a tranquil meadow, its gentle babbling providing a soothing melody to their ears.

"It's been a long day," Arthur said, stretching himself. "Let's take a rest here for a while."

Lily was glad. She was yet to recover from what she had witnessed today.

Never before in her life had she seen any human as strong and powerful as Arthur was.

She commended herself for making the decision of serving him. She must live up to his expectations.

As they settled by the stream, Arthur felt a mix of exhilaration and awe wash over him.

He had claimed the Orb of Power, a relic of immense magical potential.

He stared at his hands and couldn't help but marvel at the possibilities that lay before him.

With this newfound source of power, he knew he had taken a step closer to achieving godhood.

While Lily stretched her back and bent down to the stream to wash her face, Arthur couldn't resist the temptation to check his stats.

"System, what are my progress so far?" He asked.

The screen appeared before him, its glowing interface displaying his updated statistics and abilities.

As his eyes scanned the information, a look of surprise and excitement spread across his face.

The prospect of facing greater challenges and unlocking his true potential ignited a fire within him, burning with the desire to ascend to godhood.

But now that he thought about it, if he became a god, what would the other gods of this world do?

Would they see him as a threat or would he be welcomed into their realms?

He turned around when he noticed Lily approaching.

"Lily, tell me about the gods of this world. I need to know everything."

Lily's face underwent a noticeable change. She had this sober looks on her face.

"Arthur, this world is called the continent of Astralia," she began, her voice tinged with a sense of gravity. "But here's the thing – there are no more gods in this world."

If Arthur was surprised, he didn't show it. "What do you mean there are no more gods in this world?"

Lily took three steps towards the stream and stopped, her eyes glaring up at the sky.

"A thousand years ago, gods ruled this world. We worship and revered them. Then one day, they mysteriously vanished."

Arthur watched her closely as she paused to clench and unclenched her hands.

"No one knows why or where they have gone," she continued. "Their absence left a void, allowing the tyrannical Devil King, Beelzebub to seize control and spread darkness and cruelty across Astralia."

Arthur listened intently, realising the weight of the situation.

Without gods to guide and protect them, the people of Astralia were left vulnerable, their lives engulfed in chaos and despair.

A steely determination flashed in Arthur's eyes as he grasped the gravity of his role in this world.

He finally understood why he possessed the godhood system.

His quest to defeat the Devil King was actually to fill the void left by the absent gods, to become a beacon of hope and power against the reign of Beelzebub.

But can he do it?

Can he defeat the Devil King and liberate this world?

Can he become a god?

A smoky-tailed black raven soared through the sky with grace, its ebony feathers glistening against the sunlight.

It flew over a burning village, its wings beating against the air.

The cloud was tainted with a dark mixture of red and black, the colors blending together as a result of the thick smoke billowing up from the village below.

This village was under siege. It's people were terrorized by a horde of ruthless Minotaurs.

The Minotaurs, towering and muscular, charged through the streets with a savage fury.

Their grotesque forms, half-human and half-bull, sent shivers down the spines of the villagers.

With bloodlust in their eyes, the Minotaurs swung their wicked weapons, slicing through men with brutal efficiency.

They captured women and children, their cries of anguish echoing through the air.

Blood splashed everywhere, painting the ground with a gruesome palette.

In the midst of this macabre spectacle, the crow croaked, finding solace in a twisted tree.

Its beady eyes followed the scene below, observing the Minotaurs' every move.

"Where is the Minotaur Lord?" it cawed, the words laced with an otherworldly resonance.

The Minotaurs turned their attention to the crow as it spoke, a voice that carried a haunting echo through the air.

There was a momentary silence. No one moved muscle.

Suddenly, the earth trembled beneath their hooves as the Minotaur Lord, their formidable leader, marched toward the tree where the crow perched.

He was a colossal figure, towering above his minions with bulging muscles that rippled with power.

His armour, forged from the finest black iron, adorned his massive frame, providing an intimidating facade.

His horns curled menacingly from his skull, hinting at his ferocity.

The Minotaur Lord, was known as Vortrax the Ruthless.

It was a name that sent shivers down the spines of all who heard it.

His reputation for unbridled brutality and merciless slaughter struck fear into the hearts of even the bravest warriors.

But it was his axe that truly made him a force to be reckoned with.

The Minotaur Lord's axe was a behemoth in its own right.

Legends whispered that it had been crafted by the most skilled demon blacksmiths under the command of the Devil King himself.

Its power was catastrophic, capable of splitting mountains and cleaving through the mightiest of defenses.

As the Minotaur Lord glared at the crow, he instinctively knew this messenger was no ordinary bird.

The Devil King had sent this harbinger of darkness to deliver a message.

"You called for me," he growled, his voice rumbling like thunder. "What do you want?"

The crow, its voice laced with a chilling aura, began to speak.

It delivered the message of the Devil King, the words dripping with a sinister tone. "The Devil King, Beelzebub, has assigned you, Vortrax the Ruthless, to defeat a certain human. His name is Arthur."

"Why must I bother myself with one puny little human?" Vortrax growled. "Send someone else. My brothers and I are busy."

The crow went on as if it didn't hear Vortrax. "Bring Arthur's head to the Devil King's domain and you shall be richly rewarded. The Devil King offers you Ten million Gold coins."

The reward price sent a wave of excitement through the horde of Minotaurs.

Vortrax eyes gleamed with malevolence, a wicked grin spreading across his monstrous face.

"Is that so?" Vortrax passed a tongue across his thick lips. "Now you have my attention. I shall bring not just this man's head but also his broken bones and guts. Just tell me where can I find him!"
