Episode 31 Are you Hurt?

The three friends had heart to heart talk until " so Ruth who is your dad? and why can't I see any pictures of him ? " Jemima asked "my dad does not like pictures nor do I so we don't have any pictures anywhere but here is my story, my father adopted me when I was just ten years old when my parents died in the capital city a man adopted me but he was poor i suffered for five years with my new dad eating only once per day same times sleeping without eating but we started a small business until we are where we are now" Ruth told them the story of same one she saved before but her friends believe her they had no reason to doubt her.

At the police station Jemima and James were studying a case " there is nothing which shows that it was an accident I think this is murder " James said looking at the pictures they took at the sin " do you think ...." Jemima wanted to say something but her phone beeped it was a video, someone sent her a video on W******p she opened the video to watch but stoped " excuse me I will be back " she excused herself.

Jemima sat at the toilet and played the video tears stated coming out of her eyes she wanted to stop watching but her curiosity took over until she saw the robbers face she started crying, sweating "Jemima! are you ok you are taking time there I want to use the toilet " one of the police woman asked Jemima cleaned her face and try to control her voice " yes am ok I will be out soon!" she try calling the number which send her a massage but it was non existent so she just give up.

" Why are your eyes like that? where you crying?" James asked with concern " no am ok it's just I had dust in my eyes so I was washing them" she lied "ok so are you feeling better, or I take you to the hospital? because your eyes have changed the colour" James asked he was worried " no am fine J it will go away.

" Jemima are you ok? you look destructed" Ana asked Jemima they where at a restaurant eating dinner " I feel headache I try to come because it's the first time I see you eating I wanted to know how you eat what if you eat like a pig I thought you are an alien who can't eat, but looking at you now mmmm you are a foody" she joked and James laughed " I asked you a million times if you are not ok but you said you are fine know you are saying you are sick? let's go to the hospital then " James said " am ok J it's just a headache no big deal I just need to sleep" she answered " can I take you home?" Ruth asked " no am fine I will take a taxi you continue eating" she declined "are you sure we are friends? because you forbid me from escorting you all the time, i understand that your brother can't be praised to see you with a man but Ana? she is your female friend for crying out loud, why can't she help you? if you collapse at the road, what will people think of us ? they will say we are bad friends" James talked so much because he did not understand why Jemima has to be so secretive "ok James you guys take me home" she gave in, James new how to pursue her.

It was a short drive about thirty minutes " let me take you in James will be here since your brother hates visitors" Ruth said "he hates women more than men" she replied "hey how is he going to find a wife? maybe he will love me at first sight let's go not everyone is bad" Ruth said and the two dropped their mouth Ana surprised the two she never joked or laughed and she looks like a Parson who does not care about romance, James looked at her with an angry face "am a human two I have felling's" she said getting out of the car since she was driving, she opened the other door where Jemima was James was still looking at her, he had no right to be angry she was not his girlfriend after all.

There were so many snacks at the table Jordan was watching a movie when he had the door opening " sis you are welcome he said looking around and he froze to see his sister with someone, the girl looked familiar even if she put on a mask, Ruth could not believe she was standing in front of her worst nightmare until now she can not forget his face that day how he forced her to kill he her own dad with a knife, how sorry her dad was he kept on saying sorry but she was the one to apologies, it took all her strength to hold herself not to kill Jordan, "who is she? I told you to never bring anyone here Judith, look she is wearing a mask she can be a thief or an Assassin" Jordan said "she is my friend Ana, I am not feeling well so she brought me here she is just trying to help, as for the mask she has a good reason for putting it on Jemima defended her friend" " good reason? that's worse she may be laying to you get her out of this place !" he screamed " let's go Ana " Jemima said take her friends hand but instead of moving Ruth took off her mask which was covering her eyes and forehead.

Ruth had no idea what she was doing she just followed what her heart was telling her taking of her mask in front of her nightmare was a big step and the look on Jordan's face was priceless a picture to remember, he was horrified " youuuu.. ffffffff ... fou...n..d me? he asked in fear and Jemima got confused, what was going on? before she could ask, Jordan jumped on Ruth and hod her neck pinning her to the wall, instead of Ruth screaming it was Jemima who screamed " aaaaaa !" James was waiting at the door so when he heard the scream he barged in the house, what welcomed him was the crying Jemima trying to separate her brother from the silent crying Ruth.

James punched Jordan on the face he landed on his back "are you ok?" James asked Ruth as soon as he dragged her and Jemima out of the house living Jordan in pain " my throat hurt a little but am ok" Ruth answered wiping her tears, Ruth was crying because she remembered her past she could not feel pain so it was not physically paining "am sorry Ana" Jordan apologized "did he hurt you two?" he asked Jemima and she shook her head "what's wrong with him? is he mentally ill? James asked Jemima "no he is not I think there is just something going on with him, am not sure what is going on " Jemima answered " try to find out Jemima, he might hurt you" James said and he drove away.

The three went to James house, the house had just one bedroom so James was going to sleep on the sofa and the two women will sleep on the bed.

Jordan stayed in the house for same time he could not sleep he remember that smile she gave him when he fell down she looked scary it was had to think she was the same young girl who was crying the day he killed her parents he was moving around the house regretting why he did not just kill her right there because he just realized no matter how had he try to run she was going to caught up with him ' maybe I should live the country ' he thought and so he started packing his bag.

Ruth went to the bathroom and sent a message to Alex ' am sorry little brother but do me a favor please broke Jordan's passport and accounts ASAP and make sure you broke Jemima's account and passport too' Ruth send the massage the called Alex who answered immediately " have you received?" she asked " yes I did don't worry am on it I have been waiting for this for a long time now he will never live the country and I will send my men to watch him closer" Alex said " thank you" Ruth said and cut the call Ruth new someone was listening to her at the door so she made sure she did not say much, " is everything ok Jemima?" she asked as soon as she opened the door and Jemima looked embarrassed she just nod and entered the toilet too pretending to be pressed, Ruth went to bed and closed her eyes the day was stressful she could not believe it Jemima as a police officer is supposed to take care of the citizens of the country but she is hiding something.
