The progress of training

After 4 days of continuous training we were informed that there would be sparing matches with other orc to put to practice what we learned, almost all the orc were craving a fight after not being able to for the past few trying sessions, I was no exception.

While I walked towards towards the training area I saw an orc that I did not want to see, it was Grah the warrior I saw before. When he saw me he began to walk towards me having a devilish grin on his face that couldn't be hidden.

As soon as I saw him I froze for a second and started to walk in the other direct slowly speeding up. Once I thought I was far enough away I turned around one of the tents that were set up around the tribe camp and sprinted for it, not far behind Grah followed.

I sprinted as if my life depended on it, twisting turning, doing anything could to get him off my back.

The camp wasn't incredibly big, it had a 10 foot wooden wall that had small watch towers around it but nothing too big. I was in the shopping area of the tribe where other orcs sold there crafts. Orc weren't amazing at crafting but after working with the warbeasts bodies that we hunted we got pretty good at making war and fighting based product, we also sold some of the loot we plundered. That wasn't important though, I was running for my life as Grah shouted curses at me. As I ran I started pulling and grabbing anything that could get in the way of Grah to give me more distance from him, luckily it seemed to work and helped me loss him.

After catching my breath I realised that I wasn't as out of breath as what I used to be when I ran that much before, from the looks of it the hellish training I went to seemed to work.

I finally got to the training area and met up with Nork and Arg, we spoke for a little bit then came to the door we went through before for the training. As we walked through the door we saw a group of orcs around a ruff piece of paper written in orcish that was hung up on a wall, orcs weren't amazing at writing or reading but we learned the basics of orcish language at least. As I walked toward the piece of paper and began to look at what was on it I realised what it was, it was a small tournament bracket with all the unblooded orcs on it.

I began to look through the bracket and finally found my name, next to my name was gunug the orc that harassed Nork. Onec I saw who id be up against I turned around with a huge grin on my face my tusks showing for all to see. As I turn Nork and Arg looked at me and had confused faces, then Nork walked up to me, what you so happy about Rogan. I squeezed through the other orc and told Nork and Arg who I'd be up against, both finally understand why I was grinning followed suit. I wasn't the strongest out of all the orcs in the training room but I was very good at finding weaknesses and exploiting them. Gunug should be easy, he always realied on his father  the chieften of the villages power never bothering to properly trained himself.

Once I told them my opponents they began to tell me theres. Arg was against Ruk, he was a 6ft orc with short black hair and was seen as one of the stronger unblooded orcs but he wasn't very gifed with a weapons, this didn't matter due to us doing fist fighting for the tournament. Arg was looking forward to this fight because he only liked fight strong big enemies due to his simple thinking. Nork on the other hand would be fighting Bral who was an orc around the size of Nork. As Nork told us about his opponent he had a huge grin on his face and started speaking, this will be easy for me I could beat Bral with my hands behind my back, Me and Arg laughed at Nork which had a confident look on his face.

While laughing I looked at the shadow orc I previously looked at her name was Fray and was a female orc that came to are tribe only 2 months ago so she wasn't very well known, as I looked at her she took a glance at me then looked away. My face started to go slightly red but I turned back around and went back to talking to my friends.

Finally Sira and the other instructors walked in and took all the unblooded orc to where they'd be fighting. Once we got to where we would be fighting we saw a giant clearing that had the orc riders from Black Hide Horde there along with a large amount of orc from the village. The centre of the crowd of orcs had piles of dirt in the shape of arenas, 5 to be exact.

The instructors split us up into who we'd be fighting me and Norks fight would be at the same time so sadly I wouldn't be able to see his fight, but I shouldn't focus on that I had a fight to win.

After we got split into are groups the Orc rider Chief with his black warg rodeo the stage that was set up in front of the fighting arena. Once he arrived at the stage he left of his warg and began to speak, his booming voice echoing throughout the area. Today we have a tournament to allow you to test you strength against other orc your age and to see how you've grown after your train, fight, fight as if your life is on the line. As he spoke the orcs around him gave out a war cry to show respect and the strength of orcs.

When the Orc rider finished his speech another orc walked up and introduced himself as the judge of these fights. He then went on to stat the rules, First to surrender get knocked out of the arena or goes unconscious loses. There will be no killing however any broken or removed body parts are allowed as long as the orc doesn't die or get disabled from fighting again. These were the normal rules for orc fighting unless it was to take over a position then it was a fight to the death or surrender, however if you surrendered in a death match your life was sworn to the orc that defeated you until your death.

As the rules were finished it was finally time for the fights to began and we all go on are areanas in fighting positions waiting for the signal to start.

BANG!!!

The drum was hit and the fights begun.
