Forty-eight: Emergency operation

"Somebody call an ambulance!"

A young man yelled out. They all rushed out of their car to help Ivan even though there was nothing they could do than to wait for the paramedics to arrive.

"I don't think he is still breathing, I don't see his chest rising." A woman expressed worriedly.

"He was on the phone, I think the person he was talking to is still on the line, somebody found his phone!" Another woman exclaimed.

They began searching around for his phone until a young man found it close to the edge of a drainage.

"Found it!" He raised the phone into the air to alert them all. He placed the phone on his ear. "Hello?"

"Hello? Hello? Please what happened? Who is this?"

China knew something wrong had happened as all she could hear were people talking though she could not make out the words.
