Ninety-four: A trusted ally

The sound of her heels as they met with the ground echoed as she walked down the marble road.

There were a lot of cars and bikes and all sorts of buses, school buses, regular buses, traveling buses, all different sorts of vehicles occupied the road, keeping it busy twenty four seven.

Mia kept to the pedestrian lane as she majestically swayed her hips down the road.

Her footsteps came to an abrupt stop as her phone began vibrating in her leather jacket pocket.

Taking out the phone, she raised it to her face and a smile crept on her face as she answered the call.

"Don't be so impatient Berlin, I'm on my way."

"Is it wrong for me to call and check in on you? I just want to know how far you've gotten." Berlin responded over the phone.

Her smile widened. "Alright alright. I'm just a few steps away from the café, I'll be in there in just a few seconds." She assured as she resumed in her steps.

"Alright, also the man we are here to meet is in a hurry so that's why I'm rushing you."
