The Graham's residence was silent...

"How long has that girl been gone?" Mr Graham asked.

"She has been gone all evening! Don't you find this very very suspicious? She didn't call Charlie or anything and she is not back yet, do you think she will actually come back if it is not that she heard something?" Mrs Graham threw the question to the table.

"Can we please not make any assumptions yet?" Charlie said.

She rose to her feet while staring at Charlie. "Just because you love her doesn't mean that she feels the same way too. Didn't you say it yourself that she likes that useless good for nothing kid? Do you really think she would not take advantage of you to prove herself and her love for that kid?"

Mrs Graham's voice was starting to rise in anger.

She was a woman who always liked things to go smoothly for her and sometimes... Most times, Charlie messed things up for her because of the little part in his heart that was good.
