Chapter forty : Thomas's dilemma

"Oh my goodness Matt!" Oliver exclaimed but Matt instructed he kept his voice low.

"Please, you have to help us,"

Oliver runs his hand through his hair, pondering on what he had just heard. "Accommodating the two of you will not be a big deal to me but my father is super protective about who he let's into his home,"

"Please… I know you can talk him into it," Matt pleaded.

"It's okay, you should give me a minute," Oliver said. He stood up from the chair as he left upstairs.

"Do you think this will work?" Thomas asked his elder brother.

"I have no clue Thomas, let's just pray it does," He answered.

Thomas and his elder brother waited for about ten minutes and afterwards they saw Oliver returning to the sitting room with his father. Oliver's father sat on the chair opposite him and he demanded to know why they wanted to stay at his home.
