Chapter ninety seven: The hidden skill

Back in Lily’s house Charles walked inside his room, moving straight to his bed as he gently sat down. The evening was a game changer to him, so much happened in one night. It was a lot and mind blowing discovery. He hadn’t recovered from all that Lily had said about Felix. For years he had been thinking that if he found the person whose heart was cold enough to leave someone for dead, he was going to put a hole through his chest himself but now it turned out that the victim was only a lonely teenager.

He supposed the cold hearted person to be a little older but looking at Felix all he saw was an innocent teenager who still needs guidance, except that he might not be as innocent as he assumed.

The fact it’s a friendly teenager only makes the situation worse because people with that complex personality are often dangerous. One moment they act friendly and the next moment they are a totally different person.
