That was all Felix recalled from the previous incident before their escape from the Academy. Sitting beside a lady he left for dead brought back all the feelings of guilt. There was no escape, no excuse to give and no contrary reason for his actions.

The guilt punched him so hard that he couldn't look into her eyes.

"I can see that you remember now. At least you know the reason why I hate you. I hope that guilt and pain never leaves because you have printed an eternal scar in my heart," Lily said when she saw his eyes redden in pain.

Saying 'I am sorry' was never going to be enough, instead of solving the problem it was going to bring more pain.

"What can I do to make it up to you?" He lifted his eyes to her.
