There was no other option than to follow Thomas’s lead. Gaius said that if they will find the key then Thomas was their only chance so no matter how crazy they all thought the idea was, the answer was definitely at the academy.While heading to the academy Elise wondered why Thomas didn’t feel the presence of the key when they were there. It took him ten minutes before he spotted the portal and when he had sight on it he realized it was only a matter of seconds before the portal was completely sealed. He hastened with heightened hopes but on reaching the portal he crashed to the floor. He jerked back to his feet as he attempted going through several times but his attempts were all in vain.
