Kelvin could not get his mind off his suspicion that Felix had killed Thomas and is mourning him in a spot inside the forest. He must be ignoring them as a result of the guilt of what he had done.

“You two should stay calm, I am sure that Thomas is fine,” Klaus said to Elise and Kelvin who wouldn’t stop panicking while looking around like they were lost. “Seriously you two should take it easy,” he repeated.

“Take it easy?” Kelvin said, turning to him furiously. “Should I remind you that if anything fatal happens to Thomas we are done? All our effort will be in vain. If any of us was to die, over time we can be replaced but if we lose Thomas we can never get anyone else like him; there can be just one last runner and if he is killed we will remain stuck here forever which means that the real world we have known and cherish will be gone forever.”

While Kelvin kept speaking Elise called out to them. “Guys,” she called as they all turned to her. “I think I hear something,” she was precise
