When Xander saw the pain written in Thomas’s eyes he opened up but this time he explained in a serious face. “Like I said earlier, your father was part of us. We made the plans together but when the work was in progress we realized that his daughter being your sister has a special blood. When your father found out about this he was unwilling to make the sacrifices so we decided to engage forcefully…”

Thomas was filled with rage as he watched Xander speak without any emotion or piety. How can someone be so cruel? Thomas wondered. He tried as much as possible to be in his best behaviour in order not to lose his temper.

“Right now your sister is with us and your parents are inside an underground in the desert. When I am done with you, I’ll have to leave to our site. I must wait there until the moon comes up,” he hesitated then checked the time. “We will commence the experiment as soon as it strikes
