Chapter one hundred and thirty: the conference
The sun came up the next day and just as agreed everyone gathered in and outside the palace hall to hear what Felix had to say. Felix had explained everything to Kelvin, Thomas and the rest of them so they were not void of the knowledge about what played out. Before now the king had already been kept aside but none of them knew what his outcome would be. He might likely survive it or remain that way until the apocalypse is over because an injury from a dragon flame was almost incurable.

Two guards walked Thomas inside with his hands locked with a large chain. They left him standing some feet away from the throne and just then Caleb also walked in.

The conference was set and everyone kept silent to hear Felix speak.

Felix on the other hand despite his hopes that they will consider him he knew that it was rarely possible. It was just like his friends saying, upset people are hardly convinced.
